The last Princess is a young adult fiction fantasy story book written by Kakpie. Althought it’s first work from the author that I have read and to be honest it became my favoread.
It’s about Elvina the eight and last princess of Forest.All her elder sisters and her father King Rowan was murdered by her mother Queen Ivy, who was the reigning monarch of the Forest and elves.
Elves have got the power to manipulate earth. Ivy was so powerful. All of Elvina’s sisters have got this power but in lessening effect ending with no power for Elvina. Elvina was powerless, this is what she, her mother and everyone knows about her.
Before the rising sun of their sixteenth birthday all of Elvina's sisters were murdered by Ivy.A mother herself killed her seven daughters. Ivy has hated her daughters very much. She has imprisoned them in a cell.
Year after years, one after one of Elvina’s sisters were killed a night before sixteenth birthday respectively and now Elvina is left alone in the cell.
Merely, few days were left for Elvina’s sixteenth birthday.Her mother Ivy has planned to kill her as she killed all her seven daughters. And after Elvina's death Forreston, the son of Queen Ivy and sir Branch, who is one of her court members will be the king.
Elvina has never accepted Forreston as her brother because she knew the truth. Elvina has always despise her mother for killing her father and her seven elder sisters.
Now the night has came, the night before her sixteenth birthday and now she was thinking to escape herself from there in order to save her life. Very cleverly she stole the key if her cell from the guard, and to her luck Rebels had attacked the palace. Rebels were against the reigning monarch. The people in the palace were jostling in order to save their lives and this was feather in Elvina's cap to escape from there.
Passing from different passages that she has known Elvina went into the same place where her father King Rowan and all her seven sisters were murdered by her mother queen Ivy. And it is the place where Elvina has to be murdered. To her shock Ivy appeared there suddenly.But to her luck Mr.Birch, who was a rebel has saved her by using his power to manipulate leaves, in which he was master.There Ivy learned that elves can manipulate not only earth but also trees, water, fire everything that comes under forest, including earth.
Mr. Birch took Elvina to his house in the Rebels camp to stay with his family. He try to teach Elvina to use the power he says tthat every elf has the power to manipulate forest and you can too just you need to learn.
A day after they get the news that the king Forreston is getting married with Maple. Maple was a maid in the palace and was Elvina's best friend, who was a year older than Elvina. Maple used to visit Elvina in the cell through secret passages. Now, Maple was in danger who knows why Forreston is marrying her. Elvina did not want to lose her friend and also Maple can be helpful for rebels to get the information about the palace as they were planning to attack the palace and queen. So Birch decides to send one if his son Arden to rescue Maple. Arden leave to rescue Maple meanwhile, Ivy attacked the rebels camp to get Elvina and murder her.
Now, it was much important for rebels to save princess so Birch ask his other son Aiden, who was twin of Arden to escape Elvina and himself from different route and reach he other rebel camp.
In this journey Elvina and Aiden get attacked by Ivy, but his did she knew where they were? But luckily and unknowingly Elvina manipulate water and escape themselves from there as Uvy get fainted.
