After a year-long wait, the Book Club Commune returns by my arbitrarily set February 2024 deadline. We continue in State and Revolution by Vladimir Lenin, and we should be back to at least 2 episodes per month for the foreseeable future.
The intro jingle was written, performed, and edited by me (sorry) feat. Joseph Stalin (from 1941).

Tarantinoing the shit out of this podcast as we jump back in time to get into some Vladimir Lenin! we're starting with What is to be Done and seeing how far we go with it, so sit down, grab some tea or coffee, and enjoy!
in this second installment of Mao's On Guerrilla Warfare, we wrap up not only this text but the last of Mao I'll be reading for sometime. Next time I'll either be reading some Lenin or some Engels. it's only up for a day, but there's a poll on my Twitter where you can vote if you'd like https://twitter.com/m00njunk/status/1458095770746466327?t=Js_rq2OuBF03TLEtpfXJSQ&s=19
--this episode was recorded and edited by my comrade in the Shenandoah Socialist Collective, Contradictions (@simpingforstalin on TikTok)-- in this episode we take a look at Principles of Communism by Friedrich Engels, in the first of hopefully many collaborations with my comrades in the SSC
In this long awaited episode, we finally get back to Mao and see his critiques and ideas concerning Stalin's work "The Economic Problems of Socialism in the USSR". oh and hey by the way the audio quality of the 2nd half is like suuuuuper shitty but wasn't shitty enough to make me re record so y'all are just gonna have to deal lmao. Intro music is a Chinese version of the Internationale. @m00njunk on twitter for questions and criticisms
today we are finishing up Stalin's short but informative work by deep diving into what exactly is historical materialism. intro music is the national anthem of the USSR as sung by Paul Robeson.
