Back in my high school days—when I hardly ever read books—there was one title I picked up without hesitation. That was illustrator Keiko Saotome’s “A Lady’s Etiquette” (Fusosha).
From summer love to YAZAWA concerts (!?), this miraculous etiquette book portrays all kinds of situations with her unique humor and illustrations. Even 20 years later, it still makes me laugh—and gently reminds me of my slightly embarrassing younger self. I talk about this book with plenty of excitement 💨 (and a bit of laughter).
