We talk about the weight of destiny, Buffy finally being told she is going to die, and why this episode solidifies her as one of the most important television heroes of all time. We admire Buffy’s iconic dress, shed a tear or two, absolutely tear Xander down where appropriate, and spend time unpacking why Buffy has always represented the “othered” so powerfully and so honestly.
This conversation is full of laughter, heart, and love for a show that has meant so much to both of us, and it felt like the perfect way to end this season.

This podcast was born because of you... the Scooby Squad who kept saying, “Final Gurl, when are you starting a Buffy podcast?” For the longest time, I honestly didn’t think there needed to be another one. There are already so many incredible creators in this space doing such thoughtful, funny, and smart breakdowns of the show we all love. But lately, I realized something... maybe there’s room for one more voice.
