After talking about the absurdity of my power to infuriate rich ladies from the comfort of my couch, I answer questions about negative tripping experiences, MDMA harm reduction, and psychedelic sales under capitalism.

Despite the best attempts of the Rat King, Bernie WON IOWA BABY! Also, a conversation with two other drug policy activists, including Mason Burks of Drug Positive, about some issues that came up at the Reform Conference in St. Louis, including whether or not we should work with police to try to reduce the harm they inflict on communities, and why there's a disconnect between leftist and drug policy spaces.

This is a very shroomy episode. I review the new documentary Dosed (2019, dir: Tyler Chandler), which is about one woman's journey using psychedelics (mushrooms and iboga/ibogaine) to treat heroin addiction and depression.

Two new segments are introduced: Drug Of The Week and Capitalist Of The Week, and I talk about a Vancouver city council meeting about banning psychedelics dispensaries. Other topics: The climate strike, the conviction of Botham Jean's murderer, Bernie's health scare and why movements need to outlast leaders. Gratuitous sound effects are used, though FAR less than I wanted to use. I finally understand morning radio DJs now.
