This week on Buds Mafia we’re hanging on by a thread.

We kick things off with Draft or Dump, catch everyone up on our Movember push (we’re literally $10 away from the goal — donate before we start running marathons in Leafs and Bills gear), and then dive straight into the NHL injury apocalypse.

Hughes out, Harley out, Newhook out… and of course the Leafs somehow look the worst of the bunch. Matthews and Stolarz are hurt, the defence is a joke, and Leafs Twitter wants Knies moved for Rasmus Andersson. Please no. Toronto has now lost five straight and Ryan is fully cooked.

Then we roll into a wild Week 11 in the NFL: The Bears are randomly 7-3, the Chiefs look dead, the Rams take over the NFC West, the Lions turn into pumpkins outdoors, and Josh Allen saves the Bills while the defence continues to forget how to tackle.

Episode 42 might be our most chaotic one yet — because both of our teams are in absolute shambles.

We kick things off with our weekly Draft or Dump segment — talking about what slapped this week and what made us want to throw the remote. Then we check in on our Movember goal, and we’re this close to the target (donate before Ryan dies running in Leafs gear).

From there, it’s hockey time — Bedard and Celebrini are freaks, Leo Carlsson looks like a future All-Star, and Logan Thompson better be on Team Canada. But that’s where the fun ends.

Ryan goes nuclear on the Leafs. Defense looks like a minor peewee squad, Stolarz couldn’t stop a beach ball, and apparently the only thing consistent in Toronto is allowing four goals a night. Pure pain.

Then Jackson takes over — and it’s Bills time. No trade deadline moves, no effort, no soul. Beane asleep at the wheel, Allen can’t save everything, and somehow losing to the Dolphins made it worse. Complete meltdown.
