Winning Awards and Landing a Publishing Deal with Helen Rowe [S3 E14]
Welcome to Business Book Bites, the podcast where we distil the wisdom of influential business books and their authors. In today's episode, host Karen Williams sits down with Helen Rowe, the award-winning author of ‘Eliminating Poverty in Britain’.

Helen's journey from a housing association researcher and civil servant to a successful author and social advocate is nothing short of inspiring. She penned her impactful book while navigating the challenges of being a stay-at-home mum, driven by a desire to create a better world for future generations.

Helen shares the highs and lows of her writing process, the importance of perseverance, and the unexpected paths her book has opened up — from speaking at the all-party parliamentary group on poverty to winning prestigious awards. Whether you're an aspiring writer or passionate about social change, Helen's story is bound to motivate and enlighten.

Fancy being inspired to write your book? Join our next Coffee and Connect Café networking event. It’s on the first Tuesday of each month, from 12-1pm UK time. You can check out all our events and sign up here: www.librotas.com/librotasevents.
