This week we'll conclude the fourth section of the book of Romans as Paul will speak to the simple fact that God is not done with Israel. One day the chosen nation of God will come to faith in Jesus Christ as they come not by their works or their keeping of the law but through faith in the Son of God.
"It’s Christmas Eve! Tonight, we’ll celebrate the coming of the Savior of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ. We’ll talk about the circumstances surrounding His coming, and we’ll enjoy a time of worship, kids' choir, and some fellowship together."
This week we'll be talking about the simple fact that we all have the opportunity to receive the Lord Jesus Christ in our hearts and we'll see it's a simple process as we believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths.
This week we'll see the religious leaders continue to question Jesus as they ask about the resurrection of the dead and which of the commandments is the greatest of all. At the end of our study tonight we'll see Jesus give two examples...One we should look to follow, and the other which should be avoided.
This week we'll look at God's sovereign hand over the affairs of men, especially of His people Israel. God knows the end from the beginning. He knows every choice we will make and He acts accordingly.
This week the Jewish religious leaders will confront Jesus asking who gave Him the authority to do the things He had done. Then the Lord will speak a parable to them revealing that they just like their fathers had rejected those God had sent to them. We'll finish our study as Jesus will be questioned about whether the people should pay taxes to Caesar or not.
We'll finish out chapter 8 of Romans today. We'll talk about 5 words that speak of God's work in our lives. We'll talk about how God foreknew us, predestined us, called us, justified us and glorified us.
This week we'll see the triumphal entry of Jesus not on a war horse but instead on an animal of service...Upon arrival Jesus will inspect the city of Jerusalem and then we'll see the Lord curse the fig tree.
This week we'll continue our study in the book of Romans as we see three great groanings take place. Creation is groaning, believers in Christ are groaning and the Spirit of God groans as He intercedes for us. Though we may face difficulty in this world one day we shall be in glory.
This past week was an awesome time in worship so I thought I would make it portable so we could listen to it once again.
Join us for a night of worship and testimonies.
This week we'll begin our study through the glorious 8th chapter of Romans which will teach us all about the victorious life that we can experience as we learn to walk in the Holy Spirit who is given to all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
This week Jesus will continue His final journey to Jerusalem and along the way we'll see the Lord's incredible resolve to do that which was before Him. Knowing He would be betrayed, arrested, given to the Gentiles, beaten and crucified Jesus continued onward.
This week Paul will share his own experience as he struggled with his flesh...Paul failed try as he might to find victory in his life and he came to the end of himself saying "Who will rescued me from this body of death." The answer was "Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ."
There is victory to be found.
This week Jesus will continue to minister not only to the multitudes but to the disciples and the individual as well.
This morning we'll be exploring the glorious truths of Romans 6. Those who have come to Jesus are no longer dominated by the flesh as we now have a new Master...and that Master is Jesus.
This week as Jesus and the disciples are walking the disciples will get into a heated argument about who is the greatest. Jesus will ask them what it was they were arguing about and He will then begin to teach them several principles in reference to being great in the kingdom.
This Sunday in Romans we will compare and contrast a life that is found in Adam who represents humanity in our sinful state with those who are found in Christ which leads to life and righteousness. The reality is we all have a choice to make in life. To stay with Adam or to embrace the life that is found in Jesus Christ.
This week Jesus will be gloriously transformed right in front of some of the disciples while those who did not come with Him faced a serious challenge...Through it all Jesus is with them.
