Not too much activity has taken place over the last few days but there has been some fish caught. I'll get you up to speed with what and where in this report.

We are officially into bluefin tuna season both commercially and recreationally. Gonna get you up to speed with what's going on in that world, other fishing worlds and give you an idea of where some of our boats go during the winter months!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas!! Minimal fishing report today... not a whole lot of activity but there was some fishing done so I'll get you up to speed with what's going on and what to expect in this report.

Not much fishing at all has happened over the last few days so I figured I'd take a moment to tell you a Christmas story about my first Christmas away from home when I was fishing down in the Florida Keys. It was a special moment that's for sure!

Even though things may be a tad slower there was still fishing done over the weekend. I'll get you up to speed with what and where in this report!

A long time tradition at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is to get "creeked" when you catch your first billfish of the year. Well, our ol' pal Capt. Marty is going to tell you all about the "Creekin' Committee" and how it came about and what happened one day when trying to creek someone!

Not too much to update you on from the last few days but I do have some bright spots in today's report.

Has it been cold?? Nahhhh.... hahaha just kidding! It has been FRIDGID but that hasn't stopped the fish from biting! Getting you up to speed from the last few days!

You need to go fishing... but Marty it's cold outside.... fry 'em up in the kitchen.. but Marty it's COLD OUTSIDE!! Hahaha yes, indeed it is cold outside but believe it or not there were fish caught over the weekend! I'll get you up to speed on all that on this COLD MONDAY!

Blow days happen but when you have multiple blow days in a row, that's when some of the captains can get into mischief! In this story Capt. Marty tells us about how he, Capt. John Bayliss, Capt. Mike Merritt and (believe it or not) Capt. Omie Tillett got into some mischief with Capt. Lee Perry. So how does a shark and the State Bureau of Investigation get woven into this? Kind of a slow last couple of days overall but fishing in the surf has been where its at. I'll talk to you about that as well as some bluefin talk from the offshore side of things and speckled trout talk from the back country!
