Making Room | Aaron Ninaber
Aaron Ninaber opened the year by preaching from 2 Kings 4, reminding us that we cannot force God’s presence, but we can prepare room for Him. Through the faith and obedience of the Shunammite woman, we saw how honor and hunger create space for God to move. This message challenged us to reflect on what occupies our hearts and where God may be asking for more access. As we enter a new season, we’re invited to respond with surrender and make room for Him in every part of our lives. ________________________________ ________________________________ More from Catch The Fire Raleigh Messages: https://ctfr.me/messages Music: https://ctfr.me/music Worship Moments: https://ctfr.me/worship Connect with us: Website: https://ctfraleigh.com Facebook: https://facebook.com/ctfraleigh Instagram: https://instagram.com/catchthefireraleigh Spotify: https://ctfr.me/spotify Apple Music: https://ctfr.me/applemusic Thank you for watching this video from Catch The Fire Raleigh. Love That Abides | Kate Smith
We pray this sermon of faith and hope from one of our Senior Leaders, Kate Smith, encourages you! This is the true meaning of Christmas: Jesus—fully God—became flesh, was born of a virgin, gave His life for our sins, defeated death, and rose again on the third day. He now reigns at the right hand of the Father in heaven. ____________________________________ ____________________________________ More from Catch The Fire Raleigh Messages: https://ctfr.me/messages Music: https://ctfr.me/music Worship Moments: https://ctfr.me/worship Connect with us: Website: https://ctfraleigh.com Facebook: https://facebook.com/ctfraleigh Instagram: https://instagram.com/catchthefireraleigh Spotify: https://ctfr.me/spotify Apple Music: https://ctfr.me/applemusic Thank you for watching this video from Catch The Fire Raleigh. Together we said “yes” again to carrying His presence into our families, city, and the nations for the next 17 years. Catch The Fire Church Raleigh
House Of Honor | Aaron Ninaber
In this episode, we introduce a new sermon series titled “This Is Us,” where we seek to reimagine what family and church culture should look like through a biblical lens. Throughout the next few weeks, our focus will shift to understanding the depth of interdependence within our community, exploring themes such as honor, worship, and service. We emphasize that the concept of family extends beyond biological relationships, highlighting our shared identity in Christ as one unified body of believers. We delve into Romans 12, which serves as a guide for how we are to relate to one another as members of the church. The apostle Paul presents foundational principles for living in love and honor. We recount his exhortation to be genuine in love, urging listeners to cultivate a sincerity that eschews hypocrisy in favor of authentic care for one another. The call to honor one another reflects the heart of God's design for community, prompting us to consider the ways we can actively support and uplift those around us. The theme of honor is explored with a focus on actively preferring one another, demonstrating the importance of service and unity in our daily interactions. We challenge ourselves to reframe our perspectives, moving from a consumer mentality to one centered on giving and contributing to the church community. By outdoing one another in good deeds and exhibiting humility in our relationships, we begin to foster an atmosphere of love and acceptance—where each person feels valued and seen. We also reflect on Jesus as the ultimate example of love and honor, reminding ourselves that our interactions should mirror His kindness towards others, especially those who are marginalized. The episode calls us to face the challenges of loving not only those within the church but also extending grace and compassion to our enemies. This radical approach to love sets us apart as a community that embodies the essence of Christ’s teachings. As we navigate the complexities of human relationships within the church, we are reminded to make time for genuine connections, treat each other like family, and practice honor, especially in conversations that occur out of earshot. Each discussion point points towards actionable steps that cultivate relationships built on trust and understanding. Lastly, we conclude with a heartfelt call to be available for God’s prompting in our lives. As busy individuals, it’s vital we carve out space to engage with one another, ensuring we leave room in our schedules for divine encounters. Through the stories shared and the encouragement given, the expectation is set for a transformative journey that fosters a deep sense of belonging and love within our church family. Join us as we embrace the challenge to live in a manner that fully embodies the unity and honor we are called to reflect as the body of Christ, allowing our relationships to flourish and our community to thrive.
