Seriously, we have had so much fun recording the first season of the CBDmythbusters podcast!! Starting a podcast just because you want to share some knowledge gained and entertain along the way without the desire to "get rich" or "hustle" is really refreshing. Nick and Garrick just want to provide you with reliable, truthful and correct information about the CBD and hemp space while hopefully making you laugh a little along the way. During this episode your hosts take a look back at some of the episodes and moments that make up this initial season of the CBDmythbusters podcast.
This podcast is not the most polished one that you can listen to... and that is exactly the way we like it. We want this podcast to be relatable, truthful, authentic and entertaining. We make mistakes, stumble over words sometimes, go off topic and cough or sneeze... and we leave them in. This is real life... real life is not polished and edited to be perfect. We are certainly NOT perfect... so, why would we pretend to be? Our hope is that we are able to provide you with the answers and information you are seeking and also put a smile on your face from time to time. Afterall, what is the point of all of this thing called life if we never laugh?

Our pets are more than just some animals that live in our house... they are a part of our family. We want the best for them, just like we do for ourselves and our loved ones. On today's episode, Nick and Garrick interview a very special client of Mellow Mammals, Karla. Karla was kind enough to agree to share her personal experience with you and us when it comes to using CBD with her boxers. We apologize for some of the sound quality, as we were recording this off of a cell phone due to some restrictions at the time of recording.
However, we are very appreciative of her candor, time and honesty during this interview. So... sit back and relax while we learn of the first-hand account from a CBD user that uses it for her dogs.

The history of Hemp on this planet is vast and extremely interesting! In today's episode, we attempt to learn you a little about the "love/hate" relationship America has had with the hemp plant. From the foundation of this great Nation, hemp had proven itself invaluable for day to day living. In fact, our forefathers grew it, used it and some made their money from it. In fact, the king of England made it a requirement for settlers to send hemp back to England as a tax! Hemp helped make this country what it is now... but, this valuable resources rise to fame would come to an abrupt halt in the late 1930's.
After the passage of the Marijuana tax act in 1937, the love relationship with hemp in America is a bit rocky.
The government made hemp illegal until they needed it again, that is...
Government: Hemp is illegal!
World War II: You sure about that??
Government: Ummm... crap. We need it for the war. Hemp is legal again!
Farmers: Yippie!!!
World War II: All done with my nonsense...
Government: Hemp is ILLEGAL!!!!
Farmers: Are you kidding me?!?!
We talk about all of this and more... you know, rabbit holes, conspiracy theories, personal medical procedures and the occasional discussion regarding the actual topic. Just what you have come to expect from us... Strap in and hang on as we travel through the American History... Hemp.

Have you ever make a mistake?.... Like forgetting your child's name? It happens, and it did on our last episode when one of our hosts, Garrick Cline mentioned all of his children by name except for one!
DA-DA-DUUUUMMMM!!! (Que: woman screaming, scary music and other ominous sounds...)
This is what is so weird about podcasting... it's recorded. When we're just conversing in our natural habitats, something can be said (or not said) and it floats off into the ether... unless you or your conversation partner(s) remember said or not said quip, word or phrase... it's just gone and forgotten about. The conversation moves on without a second thought.
However, when you record said ridiculousness, it lives forever and is dissected, discussed and scrutinized for the entirety of existence!!
Well, that may be a slight exaggeration, but that's how it feels when you realize that in the middle of conversation you never mentioned a child by name... except you realize that AFTER the episode was recorded and you cannot change it.
