Missional Acts- Daniel McGinnis

In this episode Dave sits down with our very own Dr Daniel McGinnis to talk about his new book "Missional Acts".

In this study of the Book of Acts Daniel analyses Luke’s story of the first Christians in light of ancient rhetorical conventions, concluding that Luke presents his stories to strengthen the missional commitment and practice of his readers.  The book analyses the missional content of Acts in four important categories: stimuli, structures, strategies, and suffering.  Daniel says: “Missional Acts has been more than 11 years in the making and I’m absolutely thrilled that it’s finally available.  If you’re interested in the book of Acts, the early church, or mission then this is the book for you!"
