This week Ileana, Benji, Kinzley and Ella study “The Family: A Proclamation to the World” and talk about why family is central to God’s plan of happiness. The early Saints faced severe trials of faith, and while our challenges today may look different, the same principle applies: blessings come when we choose obedience and sacrifice with trust in the Lord.

• Why some commandments in the past, like plural marriage, tested faith but still taught powerful lessons
• Modern-day sacrifices like paying tithing, attending seminary, and making time for temple worship
• How to consecrate your efforts to God and find joy in doing hard things
