Never Seen November continues with the film that inspired the whole month to start with! We're reviewing The Guest this week, directed by Adam Wingard and starring Dan Stevens and Maika Monroe.
We're just jumping on the Dan Stevens train and can't believe this is one that slipped under our radar. There is so much in this to discuss and so much that we weren't expecting. If you've never seen it either, we recommend watching it first before listening!

New month, new theme! This month, the ladies are covering films that neither of them have seen before, and they're kicking it off with 2023's Anyone But You!
Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney in a romcom together? Say less! The formula isn't anything new but having two leads sell us on chemistry and comedy is what makes a romcom great. Powell and Sweeney deliver!

There's 2 episodes of the Slab-a-Thon left, and we're comin' in hot with a spooky season favorite! Hannah picked Hocus Pocus this week, and we had to bring on our fellow sistaaaa for the occasion, Logan from Ghoulish University!
Can we find a single person who hasn't seen this movie? Probably not. It is so well loved and still holds up pretty well today. It will be shown to generation after generation, and we all have fond memories of this film!

The Slab-a-Thon continues with our Halloween Triple Feature! We couldn't decide on just one to cover because the Halloween franchise is a staple of spooky season. So, we picked 3 of our favorites! Halloween 2 from 1981, Halloween 3: Season of the Witch from 1982, and Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers from 1988. We highlight our favorite parts of these films, the things we don't like about them, and spin some theories about what could have been and what could be in the future!

The ladies are kicking off October with our favorite cartoon dog! It's finally time to review Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, the absolute GREATEST Scooby movie ever.
We couldn't do this episode alone, so we brought some friends along for the ride. The Flicks and Friends podcast, Dissect That Film, and Pete from Give Me Back My Action and Horror Movies and Good Beer Bad Movie Night all sent in some audio to show our listeners how they review films in rapid-fire segments. We appreciate their support and love supporting them, so it was a treat to bring them on for this episode. There were surprisingly a few first-time watches, as well!
Grab your Scooby Snacks and let's head to Moonscar Island for a trip down memory lane with Cinema Slab and the gang!

The Slab-a-Thon continues with our Don Knotts Double Feature! Anna chose The Ghost and Mr. Chicken from 1966, while Hannah picked The Private Eyes from 1980. Everybody's Favorite Little Brother, Hunter, joins us for the first time since April and the band is back together! Hunter's been quite the busy guy in his absence, but we're glad he could join us for a nostalgia filled episode on the Slab!
The first half of our Slab-a-Thon is complete, but October is just around the corner! Part 2 starts next week, so be sure to stay with us for the rest of spooky season

We can sum up this episode in 2 words: f*ck Eric!
The ladies are back to continue the Slab-a-Thon this week with Anna's pick, the Evil Dead remake from 2013. We got to bring on a first-time guest for the occasion, Dustin from the Flicks and Friends podcast, the B-Action podcast, and the Barrens Hideout podcast! If you couldn't tell, Dustin is a very busy man, and we are grateful he could spend some time with us on the Slab to discuss this absolute BANGER of a remake!
Fede Alvarez knocks it out of the park with this film and does what few have been able to accomplish: make a remake that's better than the original source material.

The ladies are here to conclude Laugh Til You Cry month with Hannah's pick, Big Daddy from 1999! This is one that Hannah grew up with, and it's probably one of the most well-known Sandler comedies out there. It's funny and heartwarming, and that's what makes it a classic!
Grab your Scuba Steve action figure and settle in for episode 77 of Cinema Slab!

There's 2 episodes left of Laugh Til You Cry month, and this one brings back memories of debauchery! It's Anna's pick, and she chose The Hangover from 2009. Part road movie, part bromance, part raunchy comedy, part mystery... this film is a little bit of everything! We're along for the ride with these fellas, and chaos ensues! There isn't a wasted moment in this movie, and we're here for it.
Load up on snacks for the road, cause we're heading to Vegas this week on the Slab! Enjoy episode 76 wherever you get your podcasts.

It's all deadly! Did you pick up your formal attire from the dry cleaners? Cause we're gettin' fancy this week and crashing some weddings! The ladies are back for Anna's pick, Wedding Crashers from 2005! A glorious mix up of romance, comedy, and bromance, this film is still a blast to watch today! (although, many other women would disagree) The cast is stacked, including a baby-faced Bradley Cooper. We inadvertently picked two movies starring him this month, and it's easy to forget how he started out being the comedic actor! Every single actor in this cast is hilarious, and you can't beat the chemistry that Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson have.
We'll make sure to save you a seat at the reception, cause it's wedding season, baby! Grab some crab cakes and join us for episode 74 of Cinema Slab

The ladies are here to kick off Laugh Til You Cry month! It was Hannah's pick to start, and she chose White Chicks from 2004! This is a comedy movie that Hannah grew up with and we thought would be a hilarious way to start the month. Do we think this film could be made today? Tune into episode 73 to hear what we thought!

The ladies return for one final bonus episode as we round out season 4 of The Boys!
Do we finally see what's inside of Butcher? Do we get our virus strong enough to kill Homelander? Do any of our Boys get redeemed, and where are they at as the season ends? We spun some wild theories this season, but did any of them come true? Tune into the final Boys episode to hear our thoughts!
This is our final episode of July, but we'll be back in August for the Laugh 'Til You Cry month! Comedy films all month long!

The ladies are back this week for Anna's pick, Alien: Resurrection from 1997! Resurrection is the fourth film in the Alien franchise and was a recent first-time watch for both of us! What did we think of this one after we watched the dumpster fire that is Alien 3? Well, you'll just have to fire up episode 71 of Cinema Slab to find out!

The ladies are back for our review of episode 6 of The Boys! We had a few theories confirmed from last week's episode and we are full of new ones this week!
Did this episode top Herogasm on the raunch scale? Will Frenchie start allowing visitation, or will he be MIA the rest of the season? Will Butcher follow Kessler or Becca more? WILL WE GET TO SEE WHAT'S INSIDE OF HIM!? Will all Supes be eradicated off the planet??
Kick back and enjoy our latest TV bonus episode and spin some theories with us!
