On the latest episode of Collateral Cinema, Ash and Beau are swinging into a superhero film of 2012 that we can’t help but find fascinating: The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield! While less beloved than other live action incarnations of the character, this version of Peter Parker lives on in our brains, as well as this movie—which came out during a time when studios felt every comic book movie had to be dark and grounded, and makes for some interesting results with the wall-crawler.
