28th December 2025 - Shelby O'ReillyScripture: Mark 8:34-9:1In this sermon from Mark 8:34 to 9:1, Jesus asks a confronting question that cuts beneath belief and straight into commitment. Through a relatable story, rich biblical reflection, and Jesus’ words about denying ourselves and taking up our cross, we are invited to examine the lenses we use to measure our lives. Comfort, security, success, or Christ. As we stand on the edge of a new year, this message challenges us to move beyond simply believing in Jesus and toward wholeheartedly living for Him. What would change if we viewed our plans, priorities, and daily rhythms through the lens of Christ rather than human concerns? This sermon is a call to honest reflection, courageous faith, and renewed commitment. A reminder that following Jesus is not just about knowing who He is, but choosing, day by day, to live for Him and Him alone.
21st December 2025 - Shelby O'ReillyScripture: Psalm 73Series: Missing Peace? In this Christmas message from Psalm 73, we explore the tension between faith and suffering, especially when it feels like others are thriving while we are struggling. The psalmist’s honest journey reveals how pain can lead to envy, bitterness, and doubt, but also how everything changes when we step into God’s presence. Through Scripture, personal stories, and the image of a missing puzzle piece, this sermon points us to Jesus, the Man of Sorrows and the Prince of Peace, who meets us in our pain and transforms us from the inside out. 30th November 2025 - Shelby O'Reilly
Scripture: Acts 2:42-47
This week, Pastor Shelby led our all-ages Community Sunday with a creative look at what the Bible says actually makes a church. Starting with a fun drawing exercise with the kids, we explored Acts 2:42–47 and discovered that the heart of the church isn’t a building. It’s people learning together, praying together, giving generously, welcoming others, doing life side-by-side, and joyfully worshipping God.
Through Scripture, hands-on creativity, and the energy of our youngest disciples, we were reminded that church isn’t something we “go to” once a week. Because we belong to Jesus, we are the church every day of the week.
16th November 2025 - Steve IngramScripture: Ecclesiastes 7Guest speaker Steve Ingram shares at the Commissioning of Ben and Shelby O'Reilly. In seasons of change, we often long for straight lines, simple answers, and predictable outcomes. Yet Ecclesiastes reminds us that God is at work in the very places that feel uncertain, winding, or unexpected. In this message, we explore the wisdom of living beyond life “under the sun”, letting go of false hopes, and recognising how God shapes us through the crooked lines drawn across our path. In a moment of transition for our church, this sermon invites us to trust the God who holds us, leads us, and writes straight paths using the curves we never saw coming.
9th November 2025 - Ben O'ReillyScripture: Colossians 3:18-4:1Series: Colossians: Sustained By Christ (Week 5)Pastor Ben continues our Sustained series with “Sustained for Transformation.” In Colossians 3:18–4:1, Paul shows how the gospel reshapes everyday relationships — from marriage to family to work — turning hierarchy into humility and power into love. When Christ is at the centre, everything changes.
2nd November 2025 - Jackie SmokerScripture: Colossians 3:1-17Series: Colossians: Sustained By Christ (Week 4)In this message, we’re reminded that as followers of Jesus, we’re called to take off the old self and put on the new self — to clothe ourselves in Christ.Using a lighthearted illustration about dressing up, this sermon looks at how easily we pick up false identities shaped by culture, career, or other people’s expectations. But God invites us to step into who we truly are in Him: chosen, holy, forgiven, and deeply loved. As we walk through this passage together, we’re challenged to let go of anger, bitterness, and pride, and instead put on compassion, kindness, humility, and love.Challenge: What will you divest - take off, put to death? And what will you invest - put on, through Christ's covering?

We’re reminded that real peace and unity come from Christ alone. Pastor Phil reminds us to* Stay grounded in love when the world gets noisy* Let go of false philosophies, legalism, and distractions* Find strength and freedom in JesusIt’s all about choosing love over lies, love over law, and love that lasts.

Scripture: Colossians 1:24-29
Series: Colossians: Sustained By Christ (Week 2)
We all want assurance that we’re okay, that when things break or fail, we’re still covered. Spiritually, it’s no different. Many of us wrestle with the quiet question: “Am I really okay with God?” In this message, Pastor Ben explores how Christ’s presence in us is God’s ultimate guarantee, the assurance that our salvation is secure even when we don’t feel enough. Drawing from Colossians 1:24–29, we’ll see how Paul reminds us that our hope isn’t based on performance but on a person: Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Life can feel like a fragile bridge. One extra weight and everything might collapse. Between busyness, financial strain, health struggles, and the fear of letting people down, the pressure is real. But Colossians 1 gives us hope: we are sustained by Christ.
In this message, Pastor Ben shows how Jesus, who is before all things and holds all things together, not only reigns supreme over creation but also reconciles us to God through the cross. When the weight feels too heavy, you don’t have to hold it all together because Christ does.
