This is another show I did last year for Comicpalooza in Houston. I talked about childhood books and phenomenon from every generation going from millennial (mine) to baby boomers (my parent's generation). I did not talk about just the good books, I talked about the controversial ones too like Fifty Shades of Grey and Flowers in the Attic. This is a little example of what you can expect if you decide to come to my show. Thank you ahead of time for listening and please let me know in the comment section on what you think. Thank you.
I know it is a year later, but I had the most amazing opportunity to do a women's panel in Houston, Texas at Comicpalooza. To do something like this in my home state was such an honor. We spoke about Star Wars, misogyny in podcasting, banned books, and domestic violence. These women are incredible so please go support their podcasts.
We did it guys! We are going to Comicpalooza!!!! I cannot believe we actually pulled it off!!!! I have to record every week and post on different social media platforms. Be on the lookout for more content!!! Thank you thank you!!!
A book review on After You by JoJo Moyes. Starting out with a quote, backstory on the author, and synopsis of the book. Protangist Louisa Clark is still dealing with Will Traynor's death. Someone from Will's past shows up and shows Louisa how beautiful life can be after the fact.
Happy New Year (nine days too late) Bookworms! Today we are discussing the plans on what I have for this podcast this year from topics in the reading world and going to Comicpalooza in Houston Memorial Day weekday. Keep reading my little bookworms and I will catch later.-
Hello my little bookworms, I am back with another book review about Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin. I will highlight the author, say couple of quotes, and give you a synopsis of the book. I will also relate my own personal experiences to a common cliche problem that is happening like in this book. So enjoy!
