Eric Alexandrakis is a two-time Grammy® nominated singer-songwriter, composer, producer, and founder of Minoan Music. In 2019, he earned a Grammy® nomination in the Best Spoken Word Album category for I.V. Catatonia: 20 Years As A Two-Time Cancer Survivor, a deeply personal album chronicling his battle with cancer—twice—during which he created music on a borrowed 4-track recorder with no health insurance or employment, transforming his darkest moments into art. In 2022, he received his second Grammy® nomination in the Best Americana Performance category for “Silver Moon,” a heartfelt tribute to his hero, the late Michael Nesmith of The Monkees. Eric has also written chart-topping Christmas songs, including “Stealing Christmas” and “Here Comes the Snow!”, which reached the top 20 on U.S. Adult Contemporary radio charts and continue to play in department stores across America and European radio during the holidays.
