After taking time off for the holidays we are back with an action packed review for you on this monster of a flight where we are reviewing the HBO original show Creature Commandos. If you are unfamiliar with the Creature Commandos they are basically some kind of suicide squad but monsters. And just like the most recent Suicide Squad movie this show is directed and created by James Gunn so if you like his previous work with DC and you've enjoyed your previous flights with us this episode is definitely worth your time.

Don't listen to this episode it is as the title clearly states, a waste of time. Really its just us talking about stuff like usual, nothing much to find here, some discussion of The Game Awards, game genres, and an anime.

On this flight your in flight entertainment is a combination of both of your pilots' loves, teen drama and music, we'll leave you to guess which of us loves which of those as we review the new Amazon Prime original series The Runarounds. The Runarounds is a spin-off of Outer Banks, a show distinctly loved by one half of your pilots so join us as we determine if this musical spin-off can keep up with it's predecessor or if it's just here to give us the runaround.

We've had the pleasure of sharing with you a couple of the top 25 worst shows of all time in the past but we're skipping straight from 19 (where the Velma animated series sits) all the way up to number one. A show produced by a content house aiming to generate media aimed at Gen Z starring tiktok stars, what could go wrong? How bad could it actually be? We started the month of spooktober with a spin-off of the Alien franchise and we are continuing that theme by diving into the spin-off of one of the coolest horror movie series out there, Evil Dead. In 2015, nearly 35 years later, Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell returned to the world of Deadites, the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, and chainsaws for hands with a spin-off television of the 1981 film Evil Dead now join us a decade after that for our in flight review of Ash vs Evil Dead.

We're back for our favorite time of the year, it's the month of horror and we're here reviewing horror movie spin off tv shows. We did unfortunately miss our last episode due to Louder Than Life taking more out of us than we thought. But we return in a big way with the new hit FX show Alien: Earth. A show that actually serves as a prequel to the Alien franchise taking place two years before the events of the hit 1979 sci-fi horror film. We're back in the cockpit again. As has become the norm we discuss our current media consumption which has come to mean that half of us continue praising and discussing the Cosmere and the other half has started watching a new tv show, abandoning the previous shows that they were watching. It's been true since the dawn of the automobile that the one thing cooler than cars going fast is cars exploding. This simple rule has been the crutch that the Fast and Furious franchise has been built off of but before there was Fast and Furious there was a series of games that captured the heart of nearly every kid growing up in the 90s. And that game was Twisted Metal, a game now turned tv show, that featured continuous explosive vehicular combat. Will the show capture that same feeling from our nostalgic childhood or is this just another example of a video game adaptation failing to capture the joy of it's source material? We're back with part 2 of our PBS Summer and this time the show we're reviewing is a newer instance in the PBS Canon and honestly it's a bit of a mystery.... in fact you might even call it a Mystery League.

On this flight we visit the neighborhood of good ole' Mister Rogers, as we start our new flight program for the rest of the summer highlighting destinations brought to you by the Public Broadcast Station. Our flight makes a quick stop in the Neighborhood of Make Believe where we join Mister Rogers and his friends in learning about change. Join us as we see if visiting this now historic neighborhood district is worth the trip.

This month inside the cockpit we discuss the anime we've been watching, as well as the games we picked up from the Steam summer sale, the Cosmere just a little (as always) and talked a little about the traumas of being raised by inconsistent doomsday style Christian adults.

Here at Copilots we've come up with a new, innovative idea. Instead of doing full length reviews, that have all that useless and boring banter, we are now going to aim to do our reviews in only three minutes. You know, so we don't have to deal with all the boring bits.... Oh wait the idea isn't new? It's the entire concept behind the web series Web Therapy? Hmmm maybe we should look into this show before making that decision.

On this flight we get a little meta as we dive into Reboot, a Hulu original sitcom about Hulu rebooting an old sitcom. And so the end result is an original show about the drama (and comedy) of writing, producing and rebooting older original program which it turns out is the exact type of show that scratches a very particular itch for one of your copilots. Welcome aboard our flight to a world of pure smackdown and wrestling, with a small and brief layover on Accountant Isle, as on this flight we review the Toonami original animated series Invincible Fight Girl. A series about a girl stuck between two worlds-- the world of accounting and wrestling, a situation all too common to the average person, and how the forces of these two worlds collide to shape her life. Join us as we either mark out or lay the smack down as we review this original animated series.

This in the cockpit we spend way too long on theoretical questions relating to the Cosmere as well as talking about the unfortunately non-theoretical effects of current economic polices on the hobbies we enjoy. Luckily both of these topics are interspersed with some other things such as Magic: The Gathering, and the work of Shinichirō Watanabe, so at least there is that to enjoy.
