Andy and Dana Masters were never supposed to work. When they met in L.A. 17 years ago, this singer-songwriter from South Carolina and trainee minister from rural Co. Down, Northern Ireland, didn't get on well – with Andy's jokes not quite landing with Dana. But humour not translating across cultures was just one of the obstacles to overcome. When they started dating, they quickly realised they were opposite in (almost) every way.
But despite opposing personality types and backgrounds on different sides of the Atlantic, they have been able to build a relationship that has grown and thrived through everything that life has thrown at them.
They share the one thing they have in common that keeps them united despite their differences, how they navigate a cross-cultural relationship and how they've developed habits in their relationship which protect the values they care most strongly about.

In this conversation, Philip answers YOUR questions, and reveals how he counsels couples to better manage arguments, disagreements and differing points of view. We also get a sneak peek into Luke and LJ's marriage and a particularly quiet argument in a spa!
If you want to manage conflict in your relationship, learn techniques for building better communication or invest in your future with your partner, this is a conversation you don't want to miss.

What do you do when life throws you a massive curveball? Mark and Cathy Madavan know all about it. When they came back from their honeymoon Mark was diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition which would eventually make him fully blind. That was over 30 years ago and he now has almost no vision left. He hasn't seen his wife or his daughters' faces for more than a decade.
What does a relationship look like when all your plans are changed in an instant? When you face disappointment or loss? For Mark and Cathy, though they've had a long and happy marriage it's not been all smooth sailing. But from challenging early years ('which had nothing to do with Mark's blindness!') they've built a strong relationship on foundations which are secure in spite of their constantly changing reality.
With remarkable honesty and openness, they discuss just how hard marriage has been for them at times, but also how they have kept learning and growing together as they constantly strengthen their relationship to be able to withstand anything that life can throw at them.
This episode is full of practical relationship advice, relatable to anyone who is going through marriage problems, struggling with a diagnosis, experiencing grief or just looking to build their relationship. Mark and Cathy are warm, open and real. We couldn't be more excited to share this conversation with you.

Rob and Di Parsons have had an incredible journey together. From humble origins in a tiny one room office in 1988, their family support charity Care for the Family has gone on to speak to over 1 million people and has helped families across the UK for decades.
But their story hasn't been one of unbroken positivity. Behind the successes of Rob's early legal career and the founding of the charity, they experienced huge relationship issues, culminating in the insight that they might be about to lose their marriage. Health issues, work pressures and family dynamics were all contributing to a relationship breakdown that nearly pulled them apart.
At the same time, they had welcomed a local homeless man, Ronnie Lockwood to come and live with them. Though adding to the challenges they faced initially, Ronnie became part of the family and lived with them for 45 years until his death in 2020. They rebuilt their marriage from the ground up and navigated life side by side.
In this revealing and honest conversation they share their secret to surviving, growing and thriving through decades of marriage. With stories and wisdom on conflict, communication, sex and much more, Rob and Di reflect on lives lived in pursuit of a better marriage.

John Bostock was a phenomenon at 16 - to this day he's still Crystal Palace and Spurs' youngest ever player. But his career led him on a different path than he might have expected, taking him across the world to play in Canada, Belgium, Turkey and France, as well as throughout the English football pyramid. But in the midst of all this upheaval, his marriage to his wife Sia remained the one constant. Now, for the first time ever, they sit down for a conversation together to discuss their relationship story, the challenges of marrying young (at just 18 and 20) and what John's teammates thought. How John's career has shaped their lives, their vision for what a strong and loving relationship looks like, their struggles in married life and how they are constantly working together towards the best marriage.
We also hear about the inspiring moment that led John to found Ballers in God, an international community of Christian professional footballers, which is by the players for the players. Now, a new season begins as Sia also leads Ballers in God WAGs to support the families and partners of footballers. They are working together to help the growing football family that they have built, to ensure that everyone in their situation can feel supported.
