Wow. I never thought I would do something like this but I thought I would give it a try! Lesson: Try to do something out of your comfort zone. At first, I think I didn’t really find a impact towards... anything, but then later I felt like I didn’t really like doing it. I was just kind of pushing myself towards the end of the week, which was interesting, too! Listen along to my experience!

...It’s been a while! What have I been up to? With my new lifestyle, family breakfasts, and educational opportunities... I am learning a lot. To balancing and maintaining family fun, educational opportunities, and new changes ... I am getting closer to more personal goals reached! Wow. That’s the word to explain what I’m feeling these past days. It was a very sudden decision that made me think about everything that I’ve said about social media again. But it’s been a great experience to reconnect and see familiar faces. I am starting a journey of totally new situations, so I wish myself the best in all of this. Is there anything that you want to try again that you paused in your life?

I wasn’t always a striving-to-be morning person. I always procrastinated, and I was proud of it. Hehe. But because of college and some self-motivation goals for self care and a different lifestyle, I have tried for more than a year to make myself a morning person. And I don’t regret it! Something that more people can try or roll their eyes about. To each their own.

With a new season here, try something new or finish something that you have been meaning to start. Bring a new mindset or ideas into your world. Let things take a little spin to see what fits or doesn’t yet fit. It’s all a game of matching.

Truthfully, I never loved babysitting. It was more of something that I had to do for family. But as I mature and appreciate the little things in life, the innocent beings that decide to place stickers around the house and tread mud everywhere they go are wonderful. They bring insight, smiles, and cries to me because they are smart and yet not so smart. So appreciative for family, friends, and love. Spread the love every month!

Obviously don’t think too much because it goes down a crazy road, but think some. Think and analyze to improve ourselves. The current year and time is something that needs to be emphasized for us to see if we are happy and satisfied with our current experience and scenery. Can we do anything to change it up and improve our situations and our mind? Can we clear things out of our minds and check off some of our personal, school, job, or life goals?

Wow. It was hectic this week. When it usually is buying textbooks and looking at different syllabi, this time it was filled with pre-semester reading and assignments in the first week. I was so drained towards the end of the week, well on Wednesday I was already drained. It was a pretty successful week. But I have to stay strong for the whole semester! Let’s do this!!!

I knew from last year that my New Years resolutions were not going to succeed because I have some crazy ideas and thoughts that can be too much to handle. But what can be done? What is the perfect balance? Taking things slowly or getting things over with... which do you prefer? It varies, doesn’t it? Let’s just enjoy that beautiful pinkish shade color. For whatever reason. Is it all really coming to an end? Or are there still some things that will need a couple more years before it’s really gone? Or are they never meant to leave? Are we hiding ourselves? There’s never an end to “time” questions. We tell ourselves and our minds it’s okay, but when is the actual time good enough or not enough? It’s so complicated. I will leave those thoughts to you to think. But don’t think too much. Journal a bit to dive deeper into finding what is really going on. You are in your own mystery case! Good luck! Stress is rising! Everyone near me is going a little insane. Thanksgiving is coming, some will be spending it alone or with others. But either way try to appreciate things of their value not the outside things such as the price or the brand. Any last minute projects and assignments or the remaining work days before a day off are the biggest stressors. Regardless stay thankful and have an open mind. Try not to go crazy and cause unnecessary family drama. Advice to myself too heheheh. Stay thankful and humble!!!!!!

I reveal that I withdrew from a class. I’m taking breaks. I’m reading more. I’m watching more tv shoes. I’m focused more on planning and alarms. But I’m mostly focused on exercise and self-care. Having a call or making a podcast episode is always going to be interesting and more interesting with friends. Honestly, it was really necessary for me with exam week kinda over. I needed to just catch up with some people and just talk off topic. We went off into many tangents. Honestly, many of us are struggling. It is the truth. Some of us are hiding it, and today I wanted to reveal some things that we are going through right now. Life is hard! All of us are players in this game and working hard! We have to continue to work hard and not slack off, otherwise we get behind. And before you know it, you are behind in many classes with notes and video lectures. Do not be the student that got a 40% on any midterm exam. That is not the way to live even though I must say I might be doing exactly what Drake said to do, “laugh now cry later.” That may just be me. I had a great time inviting my friends today. I missed one, Jennifer, but I will make sure she joins sometime soon. I hope you guys enjoy. I might sound a little different, but with friends a crazy side always reveals itself. Hellooooo. Today, I reveal some details about my family and business stories. I have really been giving this a lot of thought. I recently attended a virtual job fair, and the only experience I have ever had is from my family business. Employers and recruiters may hear and see some of the information from my resume, but they will never see the craziness that lily got from this experience. The mistakes, the guilts, and the lessons are all embraced into my experience in this restaurant. This is my personal story. I know that maybe other people have different stories or their place of work is not family-owned, but I love my unique story. It has been many great years. No matter what happens or where I go in life, I want to forever cherish the experiences and stories of great people that I have made connections with. To all the customers that still hold a grudge on me, please forgive me. I am young, and I will forever be making mistakes and more when my brain is about to fart. Please understand. 😄 Hope everyone enjoys my new episode and always be thankful for all experiences in life whether they were good or bad. If you thought school 2020 couldn’t get any worse, you thought wrong. See our lives with education has already changed and will forever be changed in the coming days. With news updates everyday of this school and that school, we really don’t know what’s happening. Or did we know but we had other motives deep inside that we put the original thoughts aside? Well now I finally have a deeper understanding of where all the commotion and complaints about online education is coming from. Sometimes you just gotta experience the process (even if it’s online on your couch), before you can understand where others are coming from. I know so much so many whatever, me am human. 🥳

Welcome to my first actual podcast episode where I speak about my experience with international roommates. It was a great year with the two lovely girls, and I just wanted to discuss about some of the interesting things and facts I learned about them. It isn’t based solely on them but most are from them or the connections I made from the two. I met a lot of international students from different parts of China, and everyone was different. I soon realized within my semester that some assumptions and quick judgments I made were not representative of the students at all. There were some great and nice people that didn’t flaunt their wealth. I soon realized that they were like any other college students looking to improve and better themselves. It was a great year and a great learning moment. I know I didn’t go into great depth, but you know gotta leave something for my own mind lol.
