Join the Daily Record's crime reporter Norman Silvester as he speaks to Adrian Hunt, whose father Detective Sgt Ross Hunt was murdered more than 40 years while on duty. Norman is also joined also joined by former police Detective Supt George Barnsley of the Lanarkshire Police Historical Society.
Adrian and other members of his family have been campaigning since then for his bravery to be recognised with some form of official governmental bravery award. However successive governments have refused saying any award is subject to a five year timebar.

Glasgow Police Museum curator and former city cop Alastair Dinsmor MBE joins Norman Silvester on this week's Criminal Record.
The pair discuss the history of the Glasgow Police force, as well as famous incidents that took place in the city. Alastair recalls IRA violence spilling into Scotland, as well as the famous theft of the Stone of Destiny by a group of Scottish students in 1950.

Former Metropolitan Police detective Peter Bleksley turned author and TV host has given Criminal Record his explosive views on the unsolved murder of Nairn banker Alistair Wilson in 2004.
