This week Steve taught out of Philippians 3:1-9 about how we can know Jesus and experience the “surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus,” as our Lord.
This week Steve taught in Philippians 2:19-30, about how Paul learned to live with both suffering for the Kingdom and participating in the power of the Kingdom, while staying consistent in developing deep relationships through equipping and making disciples.
This week Steve taught out of Philippians 2:12-18 about how Paul exhorts the church in working out our salvation by not falling into grumbling as the Israelites did, by being set apart from darkness and holding fast to the Word of life.
This week Steve taught Philippians 2:5-13, about the glory of what Jesus has done for us on the cross and that crucifixion and suffering come before resurrection and exaltation. Christ humbled and emptied Himself so we could be filled with the Holy Spirit and work-out our salvation not work-for our salvation.
This Sunday Steve continued teaching out of Philippians 2:1-4, about the experience believers should be having as part of healthy church, and the growing unity we should be experiencing in our thinking and kindred spirit.
This week Steve finished teaching chapter one of Philippians diving into the depth of Paul’s fight to finish well and encourage the church in Philippi to live boldly and speak in a manner worthy of the gospel.
This week Steve continued our fall series in Philippians 1:12-18, looking at the important distinction between Paul’s calling and platform and how he was able to rejoice in Jesus regardless of his circumstances.
This week Steve taught out of the first chapter of Philippians about the importance of the Day of the Lord being the aim of believers and what we are to be preparing for.
This week Steve began our fall series in the book of Philippians with the background of Acts 16 and the power of the Gospel to open doors, break chains and instill joy!
This week Steve completed the summer series on Pride and Humility, teaching out of James 4:1-10, on how to humble ourselves before God as we move past story and parable to the Word of God.
This week Steve taught out of Luke 4 and 22 about the need for humility before God and others so we can experience a healthy rhythm to life rather than be caught up in the chaos of the next thing.
