For this week’s episode, Richard is backk and we come back with a question that is being discussed in the church, particularly with today’s young adults across Australia.
We are then forced to reckon with ourselves and the food in which we are eating?

As part of Easter, we reflected over a thought provoking post regarding the repentant thief. Prompting conversations about how he was saved and what this then means for us. Read the caption of the post that was read below: "How does the thief on the cross fit into your theology? No baptism, no communion, no confirmation, no speaking in tongues, no mission trip, no volunteerism, no financial gifts, and no church clothes. He couldn’t even bend his knees to pray. He didn’t say the sinner’s prayer and among other things, he was a thief. Jesus didn’t take away his pain, heal his body, or smite his scoffers. Yet, it was a thief who walked into paradise the same hour as Jesus simply by BELIEVING. He had nothing more to offer other than his belief that Jesus was who He said He was. No spin from brilliant theologians. No ego or arrogance. No shiny lights, skinny jeans, or crafty words. No fog machine, donuts, or coffee in the lobby. Just a naked man dying on a cross unable to even fold his hands to pray" - Steve Nicholas Thoughts?! If you want to stay connected with us, click the link below: https://linktr.ee/stirconference
In this week’s episode, we talk about Luke 10:21 and how God’s truth is revealed to the humble and lowly and hidden to the wise. This challenges us to look at our relationship with God and question whether God could be hiding His treasures from us. And so, we talk about where we find ourselves today. Today’s release was a great discussion about the vision that Ezekiel had in the valley of the dry bones.
This discussion encouraged us to speak forth in faith what God has already spoken, but also to remember our dependence on God’s breath.

This week we went heavy by looking at the Scripture brought to us by Paul in Galatians 5. As Luther says: “the more godly a man is, the more he feels the battle.” This is what we dive into as we face the reality of the war happening between the flesh and the spirit in our lives.

In this week’s episode, we dive into the topic that most Christians try to avoid when it comes to relationships and following God’s teachings around this.
Today, many Christians find themselves caught in the crossfire between negotiating their relationships with God - trying to justify that dating and even marrying a non-christ follower is ok. We enter into this deep conversation that needs to be had in order to understand the importance of our relationships and what God’s desire is for us in leading a life of faith.
