This episode is for the woman who knows… there’s more.
More than staying in situations that drain her.
More than careers that no longer light her up.
More than saying yes out of obligation.
In this raw and honest conversation, my guest, who is also my bestfriend, and I unpack the second chapter of womanhood—divorce, career changes, learning to say no without apologizing, speaking our truth, and choosing a life that actually feels aligned.
This isn’t about burning it all down—it’s about waking up.
Choosing impact over approval.
Meaning over momentum.
Truth over comfort.
If you’re navigating a transition, questioning your next move, or feeling the quiet pull to live differently… this one’s for you.
In this episode of Cut to the Chase, we go straight into a conversation most women tiptoe around: our relationship with food, our bodies, and the lies diet culture feeds us.
My guest, Sarah, opens up about her journey through disordered eating — the pressure to be smaller, the obsession with control, the shame nobody talks about, and the moment she knew something had to change. This is not a “before and after” story… it’s a story of reclaiming her power, rebuilding trust with her body, and choosing healing over perfection.
If you’ve ever struggled with food rules, body image, or the pressure to be the “perfect woman,” this one will hit home. It’s honest. It’s emotional. It’s the conversation women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s desperately need to hear.
In this raw, pull-no-punches episode, we’re talking about the stuff women hate hearing… but desperately need to. We live in a masculine-driven society that worships hustle culture, perfectionism, and being a 10/10 every damn day—and it’s chewing up women from the inside out. Your hormones weren’t designed for grind-mode 24/7, yet so many of us are living completely out of sync with the rhythm our bodies were built for.
I’m diving into the hard truths: why burnout is skyrocketing, why your “just push through it” mindset is backfiring, and how the constant pressure to perform is wrecking your energy, mood, metabolism, libido, and overall sense of self.
And yes—we’re also going there. The entitlement women have around wanting to feel better without actually changing how they live. The expectation that a magic supplement, pill, or potion will fix symptoms that are rooted in lifestyle, stress, nutrition, and boundaries. This isn’t about blame—it’s about awakening. Because you can’t heal in the same patterns that broke you.
If you’re ready to get honest with yourself, learn what your hormones have been screaming at you for years, and finally step into a healthier, more feminine, more aligned way of living… this episode will shake you awake in the best way.
Tune in. Take a breath. Prepare to feel called out...in a loving, life-changing way.
In this raw episode, I open up about the season of my life that broke me wide open — struggling with infertility, losing my dad with a 5 month old, postpartum pain, postpartum depression and anxiety, and becoming a mom again before I’d even had a chance to breathe.
I share what grief, motherhood, hormones, and identity collapse really look like behind the scenes — and the steps I took to finally find myself again.
If you’ve ever felt lost, overwhelmed, or like motherhood swallowed you whole… this one’s for you.
In this short but deeply personal introduction, I share the story behind Cut to the Chase—the moments that broke me open, reshaped me, and ultimately called me into this work.
I talk about becoming a mom and losing my dad just five months postpartum… a grief so heavy it cracked me wide open and pushed me into postpartum depression and anxiety. I share the years of infertility prior to that, the emotional toll of trying to hold my life together, and how stepping into perimenopause has added a whole new layer to the journey.
And then there’s hospice nursing ~ the part of my life that changed everything. Sitting at the bedside of death over and over again will shift you. It forces you to look at your own life, your own choices, and the legacy you’re leaving behind. It’s what made me ask: What do I want people to say about me on my deathbed? Am I living like it matters? Or just surviving?
This podcast is born from those questions.
Here, we’re going to talk about the things women whisper about but rarely say out loud ~ motherhood, hormones, grief, death, desire, identity, aging, burnout, perimenopause, and all the messy, beautiful, uncomfortable truths of being a woman in this world.
If you’re craving real conversations, real honesty, and a space where nothing is off-limits… you’re in the right place.
Welcome to Cut to the Chase. Let’s get unfiltered.
