It will include Chapter 11:1-5, 7-8, 11-12, 17-26, 28-29, 33-34, 36 and Chapter 12:1-2, 4-21. Today we will read more about God's divine plan to bring the good news to the Gentile nations through the rejection of  Jesus by the Jewish people. Paul will give us a beautiful picture of unity, telling us how we are all grafted into God's olive tree and reassuring us that the Jewish people are going to be rejoined to the tree when they believe in Jesus.  Paul will also encourage us to work together as a united body, using the spiritual gifts we have each been given to do the good works God has called us do. As an added bonus, we win over sin by doing good!  In our discussion for daily application we will talk about unity- unity with God because He has put His Spirit within us, unity as one olive tree with many branches, unity with each other in spirit because we all share God's Holy Spirit within us, unity in mind because we have the mind of Jesus, unity in body, as we are all different parts of the same body of believers. We will talk about God's ministry of reconciliation and how it actually goes much deeper than just reconciling believers to Himself. Jesus taught us that a house divided cannot stand. We are meant to be ONE WITH EACH OTHER and part of God's ministry of reconciliation is to reconcile believers to one another, too!
