Gevorg discusses the mission, vision, and key milestones of reArmenia and explains how anyone, from anywhere in the world, can get involved and contribute to the platform’s growing impact. ReArmenia is a collaborative platform for Armenians worldwide, where projects addressing real community challenges are presented to receive support through knowledge, experience, networks, and funding.

In this episode, we also highlight a reArmenia fundraiser for Podcut.

Podcut, co-hosted by Mariam and Tatevik, is dedicated to preserving the Artsakh dialect and documenting the region’s most important personal stories. For more than a year, they have been having conversations (“khat”) with Artsakh residents and with people deeply connected to Artsakh. Their guests include individuals who have lived through war, blockade, ethnic cleansing, and displacement, sharing powerful stories of loss, resilience, and survival.

Episode 1: Introducing De/դէ — Real Conversations About Armenia and Beyond

Welcome to the very first episode of De/դէ, a podcast about culture, identity, and everyday life in Armenia and the Armenian diaspora.

Hosted by Dickran and Hagop—two diasporans who are very invested in their Homeland—this podcast is a space for open and honest conversations about the issues that matter: from politics and social change to language, history, and personal stories of navigating life between worlds.

In this episode, we introduce ourselves, share what inspired us to create this platform, and explain the meaning behind the name De/դէ. A common Armenian word with many uses, դէ can express urgency, agreement, encouragement, or frustration—capturing the tone and flexibility we hope to bring to each conversation.

We also give a sneak peek at what’s coming up, including:

  • The highs and lows of repatriation

  • Volunteerism and community impact

  • Armenia’s evolving political landscape

  • Entrepreneurship and innovation

  • Language, culture, and identity in transition

Wherever you’re tuning in from, thanks for joining us. We’re excited to grow this space together.
