2025 was a lot. Like, a lot a lot. In this episode, I'm reflecting on the year that just passed—the highest highs (landing my dream remote job, meeting my partner, finally going out and enjoying life) and the lowest lows (losing my dog, family distance, unhealthy boundaries, delayed goals).
I'm processing what it all taught me and why I'm approaching 2026 differently. No performative "new year, new me" energy, just honest reflection on growth, grief, and what I'm choosing to carry forward.
Also: what were your highs and lows from 2025? I want to hear from you.

I'm doing 75 Hard—but not the way you think. After a false start in November, I restarted with my own rules because life happens and I refuse to let perfection ruin progress. In this episode, I'm breaking down my modified version, the 10 habits I'm tracking, what's actually been hard, and why I'm doing this in the first place. Spoiler: it's working.
Also, I want to hear from you—what challenges are you taking on? What habits are you building?

So... hi. If you've been around since my 2018 podcast, the Coel Experience, my fashion era, that brief blogging phase, or literally any of my creative side quests—welcome back. If you're new here, welcome to the chaos. This episode is me catching everyone up on where I've been, why I keep starting things and then disappearing (creative restlessness is real), and what Dear Dean actually is: life updates, your questions, honest conversation, all from a queer African trying to figure it out in real time. No scripts, no perfect answers—just vibes. Let's do this again.
