The Order, also known as The Silent Brotherhood, was born from the members of two prominent American hate groups: The National Alliance and The Aryan Nations. From 1983 thru 1984 they would go on a spree of crimes ranging from targeted assasinations to bank robberies before everything went up in a flash of fire. In this episode we begin to examine the groups that led to its formation and the twisted ideologies that they embraced.
On the morning of April 12, 1981, 14-year-old Sheila Sharp returned home after spending the night at a friends house. Upon opening the door she was greeted by a grisly scene: her mother, older brother, and his friend’s savaged corpses.
in the fall of 1980, Glena “Sue” Sharp and her five children moved from the small trailer they were renting in Quincy, California to the neighboring village of Keddie. Taking up residence in Cabin number 28, the family continued with their lives, unaware that by April of the following year three of them would be found murdered, along with a friend of Sue’s oldest son.

As 1989 dawns, Constanzo’s bloodlust continues unabated. With each new victim the feeling of invincibility grows, and with it, so too does his arrogance.
In the spring of 1987, Adolfo Constanzo sets his sights on the boarder town of Matamoros and its burgeoning drug trade. Along the way, he meets a 22 year old college student who is destined to become as important a part of the cult as he himself is.

In 1984 a 21 year old Cuban-America man named Adolfo de Jesús Constanzo immigrated from Miami, Florida to Mexico City. At first it appeared that he was a simple card reader, divining people’s fortunes from a deck of Spanish cards and the toss of some shells. Claiming to be an adherent of the Santeria religion, Adolfo began to attract a devoted following, drawing the attention of powerful cartels who he was eager to share his true role with; that of a palero in Mayombe and a practitioner of its darkest arts.
After the brutal series of murders in 1997 it appeared that the fields were sated, with only a few more names being added to the list over the next decade. But those who survived still needed answers. They may have found them in the words of 3 separate men….
On April 4, 1997, a 12 year old ballerina named Laura Smither went out for a run around her neighborhood. She never came home. Less then two months later a young woman went missing. Police had a suspect, but no evidence linking him to the crimes or the others that were to come afterwards.
As the 90s dawn, more young women are found dead, yet only one of them will be solved: Krystal Jean Baker’s. It will lead to still more unanswered questions, ones that may never have an answer.
The string of disappeared and murdered girls continues although the modus operandi changes. No longer are young women vanishing without a trace, their fates unknown due to a lack of witnesses. But are they all connected to the same killer or killers?
With one final murder linked to I45 during the 1970s, the spate of killings seems to end. This changes as the decade of excess progresses and a convenience store pay phone becomes a focal point for more tragedies.
As 1971 came to a close police had few leads and many missing girls. When the new year dawned however, one of these things would change, leading to more questions and possible resolutions for the grieving families.
The first documented disappearance happened in June when 13 year old Colette Anise Wilson went missing while waiting for her mother in Alvin, Texas. The police paid her family little mind, insisting she has simply run away. The next few cases drew a similar response, with no one wanting to look at what was happening around the Houston/Galveston area. It soon became apparent however, that the fields around the I45 corridor were a place of death and unimaginable suffering.
