Dispatch Chain: The Toilet Bomb Scene from Lethal Weapon II (1989)
The television programs, feature films and streaming media show us amazing action scenes that dazzle us. What would happen if they really DID happen?

No need to wonder any longer! It's time to look down the Dispatch Chain - the formal listing of events that WOULD happen, if the spellbinding events of TV, Movies and streaming program were REAL.

This time - Murtaugh is clearly "too old for this sh*t", as he sits on the throne awaiting thunderous, explosive, porcelain doom. It's time for a real-life Police Dispatcher to take a look at what would happen if The Toilet Bomb Scene from Lethal Weapon II happened in real life.

When The Dispatcher Has To Call 911
Most days you head into work, you put on the headset and you start taking calls some 911 emergencies, some not or you are dispatching the police to calls of service, again, sometimes emergencies and sometimes not and then you go home, sleep, and come back in to do it all over again.  But what happens when the dispatcher comes home and things go sideways and THEY have to call 911 because they have an emergency?  I will discuss just that in this episode and share a dispatcher’s story from the other side.

Join Police Dispatcher Lisa Moore as she shares more education, stories and legacy from her career inside the most-recent episode of The Digitally Dispatched Podcast – When the Dispatcher Has to Call 911

Not For The Faint Of Heart…
Most of us drive the highways on a regular basis and as we do we see many things... We see litter, furniture, ladders and roadside memorials to honor people who have died on the highways as a result in a traffic crash. But we also see people WALKING along those busy highways! Sadly, those walks do not always end safe and sound.

When COVID Came to Dispatch
March 2020, the Coronavirus, COVID-19 hit, and it hit hard.  The virus does not discriminate. It doesn’t care what gender you are, your age, race, religion, or socioeconomic status. It attacks everyone across the board.  People were told to stay home, work from home, stay away from friends and family that didn’t live inside your home.  The world basically shut down.  Small businesses suffered and some did not make it. Larger businesses were able to stay afloat by having people work from their homes.  However - We First responders and essential employees were not able to work from home. Our work still needed to be done and we had to report to work - every day.

This is my story of how we handled the onset of the pandemic in dispatch inside the most-recent episode of The Digitally Dispatched Podcast!

The Last Voice
"The last moments of any critical call are usually the moments that stay with you, some even haunt you.  Imagine hearing a frantic voice on the phone, you do your best to engage, to converse, to change the callers focus but nothing you say or do is going to change the outcome of that call.  A scream followed by a moan and the call is over.  The last voice he heard was mine."
