This week on Double Booked we are giving our thoughts on Brimstone by Callie Hart! As BIG fans of Quicksilver, we went into this with high expectations.
And while parts of the book fell a bit flat for us, we still thoroughly enjoyed the characters and dialogue (Carrion forever!), and the entire Onyx plotline had us firmly in a chokehold.
We’re breaking down what we felt was missing, the overflowing plot threads, and a few big questions—does the fate-bonding/oracle angle make things a little too easy? And is Saeris truly a strong FMC?
