This week Logan Brown welcomes on a very special guest, a fantastic singer/songwriter, she once saved his life using the milk of a goat, the love of his life; Savannah Shea.
Savannah breaks down four of her songs as she gears up to re-release her entire catalogue. Spread out over three albums totalling 40 songs releasing this year. By breaking down some of her tracks, her and Logan demystify the songwriting process and hopefully teach you a thing or two.
Logan sits down with singer/songwriter and former child actor Taylor Abrahamse. Taylor is a renowned finger style guitar player with a unique voice to compliment his playing abilities. Today we dive into a couple of Taylor's original songs where we demystify the process behind Taylors songwriting. Including 'Ain’t No Cure For Love' and 'If I Was a Woman'. Throughout the course of this episode Logan and Taylor offer up some songwriting tips to help artists at all levels.

Our very first guest on Down to the Beat is one half of the Canadian rock group Double Experience, Brock Tinsley. Brock gives us a glimpse into the workings behind a few songs he and fellow nerd rocker Ian Nichols have created. The songs we're focusing on today are So Fine, Bill Murray, and AI Freaks Me Out. We break down these tunes and not only give you all a glimpse of the songwriting process, but how these tools can help or influence your songwriting skills.
