Tim on drinking culture, mental health and the importance of reaching out for help.
In this episode of the Eb n Flow podcast Ebony is joined in the studio by the wonderful Timothy James. Tim is a fellow podcast host of the Overworked and Under Fucked Podcast, where he aims to bring a down to earth and relaxed approach to tougher topics like mental health, suicide, infertility and so much more. In this episode Tim shares his journey through navigating his own mental health. He talks about the normalisation of drinking culture here in Australia and his own suicidal thoughts that arise one night during a routine drinking session. He also touches on the importance of reaching out for help and takes us through his own journey with therapy and pushing through societal stigmas around being vulnerable with your emotions and feelings as a male. This chat is both funny and insightful and it’s a great lesson for all those males out there wanting to push through societal stigmas, and become more comfortable with expressing their emotions and reaching out for help. Enjoy. X
