Ankara Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi’nde başlayan sanat aşkıyla Kadir Has’ta tiyatro okumaya başlayan Iraz Mursaloğlu, pandemiye denk gelen ilk yıllarını yine de yeni metodlar keşfetmeye ayırıyor, son senesinde kendini masal diyarı Dublin’de buluyor. Karşısına gerçek bir sihrin dokunduğu performans sanatları fakültesi çıkıyor ve işte bu yüzden Ankara’ya dönmek çok zor oluyor. Yine de yılmıyor ve Dükkan ile başlayan kendini yeniden yaratma süreci şimdi daha güçlü bir sanatçı kimliğiyle RADA’da (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) devam ediyor. Bu bir Anka kuşunun küllerinden doğma hikayesi.

Iraz Mursaloğlu, whose love for art began at Ankara Fine Arts High School, started studying theatre at Kadir Has University. Despite the pandemic, she dedicated her first few years to discovering new methods, and in her final year, she found herself in the fairytale land of Dublin. She encountered a performance arts faculty touched by true magic, making it very difficult to return to Ankara. Nevertheless, she persevered, and her process of self-reinvention, which began with Dükkan, continues now with an even stronger artistic identity at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art). This is the story of a phoenix rising from her own ashes.

Buraya kadar her şey normal, ancak şarkı yapmak, yaptıktan sonra tanıtmak, insanlara dinletmek gibi yayın sonrası stresleri yaşamaya da devam eden biri. Hem DJ kariyerinde kendine çalacak bir mekan bulmak hem de mühendis olarak çalıştığı parçaların insanlarca keşfedilmesini beklemek bugünlerin özeti halinde. Başarılı bir müzik anlayışının yanında gelmesi gereken pazarlama taktikleri, ses mühendislerinin müzikten uzaklaşmalarına neden oluyor. Algoritmanın belirlediği dinleyici kitlelerine ulaşmak veya ulaşmamak, işte tüm mesele bu.

Ozan is a producer, sound engineer, and musician who has started DJing in the last year. So far, so good, but he also continues to experience the post-release stress of making songs, promoting them, and getting people to listen to them. Finding a venue to play at as a DJ, and waiting for the tracks he's engineered to be discovered by the public – that's the essence of his current situation. The marketing tactics that should accompany a successful understanding of music are causing sound engineers to distance themselves from music itself. Reaching or not reaching the audience defined by the algorithm – that is the question.
Tiyatrocu kimliği ile sahne önünde, kültür sanat emekçisi olarak gezdiğimiz, gördüğümüz, dinlediğimiz festivallerin sahne arkasında çalışan Elif, aslında hukuk mezunu. Yine de hukukçu kimliğinden sıyrılarak tiyatroda kendine yer edinmek isterken karşılaştığı manzara hiç hoşuna gitmiyor. Yaş sınırına sahip konservatuvarlar, çağdaş ve kapsayıcı bir eğitim vermekten uzak olan özel akademiler olsa da, diğer yanda kendi emekleriyle kurdukları kumpanya ve inadına öğrenme istekleri tüm bu tutkuyu canlı tutuyor. Sonrasında ise daha önemli bir konu ortaya çıkıyor: tiyatroyu izlemek isteyenleri bulmak :))

Elif, who works both on stage as a theater professional and behind the scenes at the festivals we visit, see, and listen to as a cultural and artistic worker, is actually a law graduate. However, while she tries to make a name for herself in theater by shedding her legal background, she doesn't like the situation she encounters. Conservatories with age restrictions, private academies far from providing contemporary and inclusive education – all these challenges keep her passion alive thanks to the theater company she encountered with colleagues own efforts and their unwavering desire to learn. Then, a more important issue arises: finding people who want to watch the theater performance. :))

Working in the music industry isn't always about being on stage; it's about finding happiness amidst sleepless nights, endless stage setups, and hotel transfers. Ece, a Creative Content Director who has been involved in this industry, which can sometimes be deeply unfortunate, is so much more than that. She's an inspiring person who goes to therapy to continue loving her work and "breaks her own prophecy" for the sake of self-fulfillment. We congratulate this diva for using therapy, a process we find difficult even for relationship issues, to reconnect with her work!

Painter and photographer Gökçe talked about the last two years he moved to Berlin. The art industry, which is shrinking as a result of the depressions of the artists who migrated from Turkey and the budget cuts in Berlin, is also felt in its own city, Istanbul. Competitions entrusted to the brush of a few people, monopolizing galleries and young artists who can't find a place for themselves...
