Der einzige Teil der Bittenichthören-Trilogie ist einerseits die Fortsetzung vom drittletzten Teil der Daswarsdann-Trilogie, andererseits auch nicht. Es hat etwas mit einem rechtlichen Unsinn zu tun. Besagter Unsinn ist vom Autor und Erzähler im genannten drittletzten Teil ausführlich besprochen. Es ist stark zu vermuten, dass er ihn hier noch einmal rasch erwähnt, danach aber zur Sache kommt. Der interversale Geflunkerverlag wollte infolge des Unsinns dieses Buch partout nicht in seinem Programm haben. Wir sind da weniger empfindlich. Eine Nichtveröffentlichung käme zwar dem absurden Grundgedanken des Erzählers entgegen. Seinen vielen Fans jedoch nicht. Aus diesem Grund übernehmen wir die Veröffentlichung. Um einem möglichen Rechtsstreit mit Geflunker vorzubeugen, der anschließend womöglich in irgendeinem richterlichen Unsinn seinen Höhepunkt findet, raten wir dringend: Bitte nicht hören! Wie immer verleiht Erik Wikki jeder Figur eine ganz besondere, charakteristische Stimme. Spannend, kurzweilig und nicht selten zum Schieflachen. Trotzdem. Bitte nicht hören!

These two artists inspired fervent followings like no other artists before them. The affective response of those touched by the potency of the physical presence of their art—works, personal effects, and remains—or even touched by the power of their creative legacy—opened up new avenues for artistic fame, divination, and commemoration. Within this cultural framework, this study charts the elevation of the status of dozens of other artists in Italy through funerals and tomb memorialization, many of which were held and made in response to those of Raphael and Michelangelo.
