Life of Pat
The boys return after a two-week hiatus to kick off their first podcast of the new year. They open by talking about things they are very glad no longer exist from the 1980s, then recap their holiday breaks, including Pat squeezing in both a ski trip and a beach trip, Bill enjoying a relaxing staycation in Seattle, and Bierman setting sail on a nine-night Caribbean cruise. From there, they dive into the College Football Playoff quarterfinals, sharing their reactions, biggest takeaways, and what surprised them most, including the absolute demolition Indiana put on Alabama. They then preview the CFP semifinals and give their predictions for both matchups. Next up is Nailed It, with all five questions focused on Wild Card Weekend. With only three weeks left to qualify for the Super Bowl finale and a possible trip to Vegas, listeners have a final call to join in on the action.  Then it’s Hot Takes time, and each host starts the year strong. Pat waxes poetic about the wild ending of the Ravens–Steelers game and once again professes his man crush on Mike Tomlin. Bill relives some brutal NFL Survivor heartbreak thanks to the Browns’ last-second field goal against the Bengals. And Bierman fires a shot at the SEC, telling them to stop living in the past as the Big Ten is clearly the superior conference right now. Along the way, the guys also debate the over-aggressiveness of fourth-down decisions and show some love for Michigan’s hire of Kyle Whittingham. After that, it’s Stone Cold Locks. The boys admit it’s been a tough season, but they’re determined to start 2026 on a high note, highlighted by a unanimous pick this week. They wrap things up with a fun Top 5, sharing their boldest and wildest sports predictions for 2026, including Max Homa bouncing back to finish this season in the Top 20, the Sonics returning to Seattle as an expansion team, and Gonzaga winning the 2025–26 national title. It’s the perfect way to start the year. Hit play, lock it in, and make Enter Sandman Sports part of your weekly routine. Consider it your easiest New Year’s resolution.

The Twelve Pods of Christmas
is off enjoying a family ski trip. Fear not, though. Bill and Eric are joined by frequent guest host Brandon Lewis, and the fun starts immediately. Bierman kicks things off with a Christmas surprise, sharing an original song he recorded called The 12 Pods of Christmas. Longtime listeners of the pod will find it especially funny and right on brand. From there, the guys jump into a fast-paced game of Christmas trivia covering movies, TV, music, and more. Brandon and Bill put up a valiant fight, and the competition comes down to the final question. Next up is Nailed It, where listeners have just a few weeks left to qualify for the Super Bowl finale edition. Then it’s on to Hot Takes, and the guys have plenty to get off their chests. Brandon pleads with the CFP to stop allowing Group of 5 teams into the playoff, arguing that the opening-round games have been brutal and no fun to watch. The Sandman gushes over last week’s Seahawks vs Rams matchup, calling it the best game of the 2025 season and one that deserves a spot on the all-time list. Bierman follows with another unbelievable high school football story, featuring a miraculous Hail Mary. The real headline, though, is the awful coaching decisions that even allowed that ending to happen, and Bierman is not happy about it. Then it’s Stone Cold Locks, as the boys look to build on last week’s momentum with nine more picks, mixing NFL action with bowl season plays. They wrap things up with their annual Year’s Best Top 5, where each of them shares their favorite things and experiences from 2025. Movies, TV shows, cities, products, and more are all on the list, and there are plenty of recommendations worth jotting down. Finally, since the boys are taking next week off, they close with a bonus look ahead to the CFP semifinals, including a quick breakdown of the matchups and who they like. It’s a festive, fun, and laugh-filled episode that’s perfect for the holiday season, so pour a drink, settle in, and enjoy.

My Imaginary Friends
In this episode, the boys kick things off by breaking down the College Football Playoff bracket, tackling questions like who has the easiest and toughest path, potential breakout stars, and their boldest predictions. From there, they dive into each first-round matchup with picks and analysis before revealing their national championship game predictions and winner. And yes, all three picks are different. Next up is Nailed It, with six weeks left to try and punch a ticket to Vegas as the pressure starts to ramp up. Then it is time for Hot Takes, which includes some strong opinions on the ManningCast and whether it might be time to stop listening, praise for the University of Washington men’s soccer team after an improbable unseeded run to an NCAA title, and Bierman sharing an incredible high school football national championship story out of Louisiana. From there, the guys roll into Stone Cold Locks, teeing up nine more picks in hopes of fattening your wallets. Finally, the show wraps with one of the boys’ favorite Top 5s of the year, a Festivus-inspired airing of sports grievances. Nothing is sacred. College football’s mega conferences get skewered, along with a proposed fix. The city of Philadelphia and its angry fans get called out. MLB MVP voting takes some heat. Rocky Top gets reminded it is not a blue blood. And that is just the beginning. It is loud, opinionated, and a perfect way to vent one week before Christmas. Grab your aluminum pole and join the cranky boys for a fun, entertaining ride you won’t want to miss.

Clint Benz
The boys are back for Episode #69, and in true Sandman Sports fashion, that number does not go unnoticed. Things open with exactly the level of immaturity listeners expect, including a quick dive into porn star names and the steamiest movie scenes ever filmed. From there, the guys shift into football mode and revisit their preseason college football predictions. Back in August, they picked every FBS conference champion, identified dark horses, made over under bets, and more. Overall, the results were surprisingly strong, although a few whiffs (looking at you, Clemson and Penn State) get exposed pretty quickly. Hot Takes deliver the weekly fireworks once again. Pat goes off on Alabama getting in over Notre Dame and calls for post game interviews to be sent into retirement. Bill unloads on the CFP rankings committee, wondering why rankings even exist during the season if they flip ND and Miami on an idle week. He also lobbies to reduce the absurd 46 bowl games. Bierman calls Notre Dame childish for refusing to play in a bowl, highlights one of the biggest upsets in FCS playoff history, and springs an impromptu “Be My Guess” game where the boys try to name the winningest CFB programs without a Heisman winner. Stone Cold Locks pivot mostly to the NFL this week with a lighter college slate, and the guys genuinely believe a 9-0 week might be brewing. They close with a Heisman themed Top 5, ranking their favorite Heisman winners or finalists ever. Names like Lamar Jackson, Barry Sanders, Vince Young, and even Gordie Lockbaum from Holy Cross make their way into the discussion. It is another hilarious, occasionally inappropriate, always entertaining episode loaded with good laughs, good picks, and good times.

Bert & Ernie On Ice Skates
The boys are back for Episode #68 and kick things off with their Random Questions of the Week, where some extremely unexciting details from Pat’s past dating life somehow make their way into the show. From there, they roll into the first-ever Sandman CFP Selection Show, where all three hosts reveal their Top 12. There is arguing, disbelief, at least one outrageous omission, and plenty of “what are you thinking?” moments.  They hit Nailed It next, where listeners can still win a free Vegas trip in 2026, then Hot Takes, which features some love for John Madden, astonishment around Max Brosmer’s horrific performance on Sunday, and two of the hosts ranting loudly at Lane Kiffin for bailing on Ole Miss before the CFP. Let’s just say the gloves come off. Then it is Stone Cold Locks, as the guys fire off nine new picks covering both the NFL slate and conference championship weekend in college football. And finally, this week’s Top 5 covers the best Christmas songs of all time, which includes a guessing game when Bierman challenges Pat and Bill to name all the gifts from the 12 Days of Christmas. Spoiler alert: they fail miserably. It is football, holidays, nonsense, debates, rants, and plenty of laughs. Another classic Sandman episode you won’t want to miss.

Full Frontal
This week the boys celebrate Episode #67, and while they definitely get into a Thanksgiving theme, they open with a full breakdown of the recent “6-7” word trend. They explain what it means, how it started, and why or when it should be used. Then they really start having fun as they dive into a variety of topics from the sports world, pop culture, and beyond, each sharing their most “6-7” things or thoughts in every category. They hit everything from the most 6-7 NFL team right now to the most 6-7 thing about Thanksgiving to the most 6-7 Christmas movies out there. Let the debate and ruffled feathers begin. Then it is onto Nailed It, where this week all five questions center around college football in honor of rivalry week. After that it is time for Hot Takes, where Pat rails on a brutal bad beat, says it is time for Terry Bradshaw to hang up the mic, and shares some cool kicking news from the state of Hawaii. Bill beams about his local girls high school soccer team winning the state championship in impressive fashion, becoming a long shot story worth celebrating. And Eric rants about the awful end of game decisions by Army’s head coach last week. In addition, he gives his own ranking of the greatest college football rivalry nicknames that most fans have never heard of. The Coal Bowl anyone? Then it is Stone Cold Lock time, where the boys deliver nine more picks they hope will fatten your wallets. This week is extra special because Bierman shares his lock of the year. He only gives one every season, and if he is wrong, he must wear full Ohio State gear on next week’s podcast. They finish with their Top 5 segment, and this week it is all about the things they are most grateful for in the sports world in 2025, including expedited reviews, a few key rule changes, a major rivalry game, and some Seattle sports team love. Another awesome, fun filled episode with plenty of laughs, lots of gratitude, and maybe even a slice of pumpkin pie.

By Hook or By Rook
The boys are back and livelier than ever. They kick things off debating which alcoholic drinks would instantly turn them off if a woman ordered them, and from there the show takes a surprisingly heartfelt turn. Inspired by the recent ESPN GameDay feature on Georgia tight end Lawson Luckie and his younger brother battling FoxG1 syndrome, the guys open up and share their favorite heartwarming sports stories. You will hear tales of redemption, players giving back, incredible family moments, and an unforgettable story about an NFL player and current assistant coach finally finding his birth father after more than forty years. From there it is Nailed It, where listeners once again have a chance to qualify for the 2026 Vegas trip with the crew. Then it is time for Hot Takes. Pat goes in on some recent brutal officiating and makes his case for expanded video overturns. He also sparks a debate about the pros and cons of in-game betting. Bill brings some exciting news about the local girls soccer team he coaches and celebrates a recent Mariners free agent signing. And Bierman unleashes a classic rant on what he calls one of the dumbest sports ever created, Chess Boxing, after seeing it featured on Sixty Minutes. Pat and Eric also lock in the official stakes for their IU football Final Four bet and the guys roll into Stone Cold Locks with nine more picks that could help you cash some tickets. They wrap up with a musical Top Five, ranking their favorite individual singers and artists of all time. Names like Bob Dylan, Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, and Neil Young all make appearances, with a few surprises along the way. It is another classic, entertaining episode filled with sports, betting insight, laughs, pop culture, and plenty of detours. If that is your vibe, you are in the right place.

The Dude Abides
The trio is back together as the Sandman returns from his Vegas work trip to reunite with Pat and Bierman for Episode #64. They kick things off swapping Halloween stories and debating the timeless question of what age kids should stop trick or treating. Then they look back on their MLB preseason predictions from March, and let’s just say some were spot on, and others not so much. From there, it’s an ode of gratitude to America’s pastime as the crew shares what they loved most about the 2025 MLB season. Topics include the dominant Dodgers dynasty, Cal Raleigh’s breakout year, a run of incredible four homer games, and a salute to the small market teams that gave fans something to cheer about despite lower payrolls. Next up, it’s Nailed It time, where listeners once again have a chance to win a free trip to Las Vegas with the boys next April during Masters weekend. Then it’s on to Hot Takes, where Pat vents about the Cougars’ loss to the Beavers in the Pac 2 showdown and asks how long people should wait before taking down holiday decorations. Bill slams “Omega Ball” as one of the worst made up sports ever but then turns positive by showing love to several classic throwback uniforms, including the Seahawks’ recent threads. In honor of the Blue Jays coming oh so close, Bierman gives an entertaining homage to the Canadian Football League, sharing some fascinating facts about its proud history north of the border. Then it’s Stone Cold Locks time, and the crew is confident about going 9-0 with three more strong picks each. Finally, they wrap up with a can’t miss Top 5 as they rank their favorite movies from the 1990s, from The Usual Suspects and Silence of the Lambs to American Pie and many more. As always, it’s another sports and pop culture infused gem filled with insight, nostalgia, and plenty of laughs. Pull up a chair, grab your AirPods, and stream away.

Sexy Nurses & French Maids
The boys are back for Episode #63 and welcome back popular guest host Brandon Lewis, filling in for Bill, who is on a “work trip” in Vegas (yeah, work trip Bill, we hear ya). The trio kicks off this Halloween-themed show talking about which celebrity ghosts they’d want to haunt them, some favorite horror movies, and whether The Blair Witch Project is actually a good flick. From there they dive into their biggest scares, tricks, and treats from both college and pro football so far this season. Then it’s time for Nailed It, where listeners once again have a chance to win a free trip to Vegas with the crew in 2026. That’s followed by Hot Takes, and the guys go in on everything from Belichick’s gutsy two-point decision in overtime, to defenses across football looking worse than ever, and an epic rant calling Brian Kelly the most overrated coach of the 21st century. They wrap with Stone Cold Locks, dropping nine bets to pad your wallet, and close it out with a spooky Top 5 featuring their favorite Halloween-related things, from Monster Mash and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown to full-size candy bars, trick-or-treating in snowstorms, and classic Halloween Monday Night Football memories. The boys crush another one, even while Sandman is splitting tens at the Sahara. Grab a drink, fire it up, and roll with the crew.

My Parents Were Hippies
The boys are back for another fun episode, starting off with a look at all the “National Days” that somehow exist. From the reasonable to the ridiculous, Eric puts Pat and Bill to the test in a hilarious mini-game show called “National or Nonsense?” Can they tell which holidays are real and which ones are completely made up? For example, is National Clean Your Desk Day legit, or is National Thumbs Up Day the real deal? Tune in and play along because you will be surprised at what is actually recognized. Next up is Nailed It, where listeners get another shot at qualifying for next year’s all-expenses-paid trip for two to Las Vegas. This week’s questions mix in some NBA, hockey, and soccer alongside the usual football topics for a little extra variety. Then it is time for Hot Takes. Bill isn’t happy about his Mariners falling short in Game 7 of the ALCS, Pat talks Rashee Rice’s return and gives a shoutout to the growing podcast audience, and Eric fires off plenty of his own, ranging from the Giants’ collapse to Vanderbilt’s incredible season to a D3 football record that has to be heard to be believed. After that, the crew dives into the Stone Cold Locks, where Bill stays red hot and improves to 16-8 on the year after a 3-0 sweep last week. Eric and Pat are looking to make up ground as the boys fire off nine more live picks for Week 8. Finally, they close with a college football themed Top 5, ranking their favorite and most impressive players of the season so far from across the Power 4 conferences. There are plenty of detours, debates, and laughs along the way, all adding up to another classic Sandman episode you will not want to miss.

The boys are back for episode #61 and it is another great one. With all the pop culture buzz around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, they cannot help themselves as they dive into their favorite celebrity couples of all time and a few that really irritate them. Then it is on to Nailed It, with five new questions focused entirely on college football. Listeners have another chance to qualify for the trip to Vegas with the crew next year. Next up are the Hot Takes, including the incredible sports weekend Seattle fans just enjoyed, some love for Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti and whether he could replace James Franklin at Penn State, and a cautionary tale for parents about overprogramming their kids’ sports lives as Todd Marinovich releases a new book about his upbringing and its aftermath. Next, it’s Stone Cold Lock time, where Bill keeps cruising and Pat and Eric look to heat up. Nine more picks are on tap this week before the guys wrap things up with a fun Top 5 ranking of their favorite all-time games that went into overtime or extra innings. Packed with laughs, insights, and plenty of sports talk, this one’s a must-listen.

Muff, Bump, and Pickle
The Sandman is back after a couple weeks away and the trio is reunited. The guys start by taking a full look at the college coaching landscape across the Power 4 conferences, sharing their picks for the best coach in each league as well as the ones who should be sweating. Names like Kirby Smart, Dan Lanning, and Kyle Whittingham get plenty of praise, while Luke Fickell, Deion Sanders, and Mark Stoops should be sweating. There is also no consensus on Dabo Swinney or Ryan Day, which makes for some lively debate. From there it is on to Nailed It, where listeners can once again join the action by submitting their entries before Saturday for a chance at a free trip to Vegas next year. Then it is Hot Take time, featuring some love for Drake Maye and Spencer Rattler, a vintage Bill rant about players dropping the ball before crossing the goal line, and Pat unloading an all-time hot take on why baseball needs to completely overhaul its season so the playoffs stop being overshadowed by football. The crew then rolls into Stone Cold Locks, where they combined to go 6–3 last week and look to stay hot. Finally, they close with a nostalgic Top 5 on childhood games, a segment filled with so much laughter and borderline inappropriateness that it might rank as one of their most entertaining Top 5’s yet. The band is back together and they are celebrating in style with another epic episode you will not want to miss.

Pat and Eric are joined once again by super guest host Brandon Lewis as Bill remains sidelined for another week. The crew wastes no time diving into a wild debate: which NFL coach would you actually want by your side during a zombie apocalypse? From there, it’s on to a rant about some of the worst team names in sports, with the guys not only calling out the duds but also pitching their own creative (and hilarious) replacements. Rest assured the Commanders, Lakers, Wild, and plenty more get a makeover in this segment. The show then shifts to Nailed It, where three college and two pro picks are on the board. Remember, listeners can still join in for a shot at winning a trip to Vegas during Masters weekend. Hot Takes follow, with sharp opinions on Ryder Cup disappointments, the NFL’s flawed overtime rules, and why Luke Fickell needs to be gone at Wisconsin. The fellas keep the momentum going in Stone Cold Locks, fresh off a strong week of picks, and back for nine more across college and pro football, And spoiler alert: there is a big disagreement between two of the hosts regarding one of the picks. The guys close with a Top 5 countdown of their favorite all-time sports broadcasting duos and teams. From Buck-Aikman to Miller-Morgan to Nessler-Danielson, it’s a trip down memory lane with plenty of nostalgia and great voices recalled. The crew is still down one as Bill battles European jet lag, but Pat is back from his golf trip and guest Mike Paston returns for another lively round. The guys kick things off by debating the best and worst divisions in the NFL before turning to college football, where the age-old SEC vs. Big Ten question gets a unanimous and lopsided answer. From there it’s time for Nailed It, with this week’s questions primarily centered on one of the best college football weekends of the season so far. And don’t forget that listeners still have a weekly chance to participate and win their shot at the 2026 Las Vegas trip. The hot takes fly next. Pat vents about golf courses that ban carts and relishes Green Bay’s stunning loss to the Bears. Mike has a humorous but fiery take on the need to stop referring to the Pac 2 as a “conference”, then pivots to a more serious critique of Mississippi and why he refuses to call them “Ole Miss.” Bierman weighs in on Mike Gundy’s firing and shares some love for several star quarterbacks turned broadcasters while listing his favorites. In Stone Cold Locks, the guys look to rebound from a slow start to the season by sharing their three best bets across college and pro football. And to close things out, the group takes a nostalgic trip ranking their top five favorite brand mascots of all time, including classic icons such as Ronald McDonald, Tony the Tiger, Mr. Peanut, and plenty more.  Even without the Sandman, this episode is packed with laughs and strong opinions so tune in for another week of football, fun, and plenty of debate.

The Hate BowL
In today’s episode, the Sandman is back after a one-week break and Eric and Pat welcome him with open arms. The guys kick things off debating the most overrated musicians and bands of all time. They all agree on Bruce Springsteen, but from there the takes get controversial and the debates heat up. Then comes the long-awaited return of the Nailed It segment, and with it a huge announcement: this year’s listener winner, along with a guest, will be joining the crew on a trip to Las Vegas for Masters Weekend 2026. Stakes are high, and it’s easy to register and play along. This week’s guesses include Carson Beck’s passing yards, total punts in the Chiefs–Eagles game, and a few more you’ll want to take a crack at so be sure to listen for more details on how to join. The crew also fires off some hot takes, from the wild Buffalo–Baltimore finish to a rant about big-boy programs scheduling FCS teams, and plenty of shade for the woman in Miami who stole a foul ball from a kid. After that it’s Stone Cold Lock time, with a mix of college and pro best bets, before wrapping with a nostalgic Top 5 ranking of the best unit and team nicknames in sports history, including the Purple People Eaters, the Steel Curtain, Run TMC, and more. The crew is a little light this week with the Sandman bowing out last minute due to an emergency, but no worries because the incredibly talented Brandon Lewis, a big friend of the show and one half of the amazing St. Louis Syndicate, steps in and delivers. With Week 1 of college football in the rearview mirror, the guys have plenty to be happy about but they still have to kick things off not with celebrations but with some rants and things that irritated them in week 1. They cover pundit overreactions, unfair criticism of stars after one bad game, and one host’s least favorite broadcast duo in the business, Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt. From there it is time for Hot Takes, a much more positive segment, with plenty of love handed out. The guys highlight standout quarterbacks like Garrett Nussmeier and Carson Beck, surprising wins from Miami and Florida State, and an Ohio State team that looks every bit like a defending national champion. They also discuss whether Kalen DeBoer is already on the hot seat, show love to Lee Corso in his final GameDay appearance, and agree on who now stands as the face and voice of college football (spoiler alert: their choice won’t surprise you). Next comes Stone Cold Locks, where everyone drops three of their best bets for the coming weekend, mixing in some NFL action this week for good measure. Finally, they wrap up with a fun and nostalgic Top 5 countdown of their favorite childhood toys. The list includes classics like Etch A Sketch, Yes and No Invisible Ink games, and the legendary Super Soaker. Even without the Sandman himself, the boys soldier on and deliver another classic episode filled with insights, breakdowns, betting tips, and plenty of laughs. So hit that play button and let’s get rolling.

The boys kick off Episode #54 with a fun debate on movies they love but think were woefully miscast, including classics like Point Break, Rounders, and Silence of the Lambs. From there it is the final Be My Guess segment of the year before Nailed It makes its return for football season. This week’s question is all about college football, and the boys actually surprise themselves with how well they do. Then it is time for Hot Takes, where the topics fire fast: irritation with mid-game and sideline coach interviews, Tommy Fleetwood finally breaking through with a big win, Week Zero kicking off with both great action and a brutal bad beat, and even some chatter about the wild dorm setups students are living in today. In Stone Cold Locks, the boys tackle the NFC, breaking down division winners, their Super Bowl pick, and two of their favorite prop bets. They also deliver their weekly college football locks, where this crew hit 62 percent last season.  So yeah, you may want to listen closely. The episode wraps with one of the best Top Fives yet, as they count down some of the greatest sports rants of all time. From Iverson to McEnroe to Mora and more, along with some hidden gems, most of the clips are played live so you can laugh along and relive the fire. Pontiac Pat
The boys kick off Year 2 of the pod with Episode #53, bringing the same mix of sports insights, hijinks, and laughs you’ve come to expect. They start by reminiscing about their most memorable concerts, from being dragged to John Denver and Neil Diamond by their parents to epic shows like Pearl Jam and The Killers. Then it is time for Be My Guess, where the challenge this week is guessing the top 10 most frequent appearances on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Could this be the week Pat finally gets off the schneid? Next up are Hot Takes. With a new sponsor on board, the rants are as fiery as ever, ranging from giving Scottie Scheffler his flowers, to both praise and confusion over possible MLB realignment, to a full-throttle plea for the Big Ten to stop pushing the CFP playoffs toward 28 teams. From there it is Stone Cold Locks, where the guys wrap up their CFB conference previews with the SEC before pivoting to the NFL. They break down each AFC division, give their picks to win, and throw in two AFC-related prop bets apiece. These are worth a listen since their football picks hit big last year. Finally, they close with a sports-themed Top 5: the most overrated players, teams, and coaches of all time. Year 2 starts with a bang, football is almost here, and you do not want to miss this one. So put the earbuds in, grab a cold one, and settle in for sports, fun, and plenty of laughs.
