A Breed Apart had the chance to be a stupid but fun “so bad it’s good” B-movie with an interesting crazy premise. The biggest downfall is that it’s not only not fun or stupid or campy, it is a very miserable, boring and dull experience. Here’s a complete RANT review of A Breed Apart.
In this video, we cover why the film doesn’t work for me, the few positives I can give (GCC’s performance, some decent performances, a few campy fun moments) but pretty much why the writing, filmmaking, characters and overall story and experience failed.

Leading up to his new film, "Avatar: The Way of Water", it's time to take on the filmography of James Cameron with the movies I haven't reviewed (except The Abyss) and this is a prime example of studio interference at it's absolute worst and results in one of the most abysmal sequels and films I've seen in my life.

The Strangers Chapter 2 is the sequel to the Strangers Chapter 1 and the fourth overall film in the Strangers film series and while I was disappointed with the first film in this trilogy, I was still willing to give the second half of the story a chance for the talent involved and to see where it would go.
Let me tell you this: this is NOT an improvement whatsoever and even just aa more frustrating than the first movie. In classic Epictastic Joshua rant style, let’s break down why I think this second film in the Strangers trilogy is even worse than the first chapter.

Video Summary: This is Epictastic Joshua's ranking of the Alien franchise
The original M3GAN was not only one of the bigger surprises of this decade, but also one of my favorite films of 2023, so of course a sequel was inevitable. The question is: does M3GAN 2.0 live up to the standards of the first film or does it take yourself a little bit too goofy with its genre change up? this is my review of M3GAN 2.0.

Synopsis
Two years after M3GAN, a marvel of artificial intelligence, went rogue and embarked on a murderous rampage, its creator, Gemma, has become an advocate for government oversight of AI. Unbeknownst to her, a defense contractor has created a military-grade weapon known as Amelia, the ultimate infiltration spy. However, as Emlia's self-awareness increases, it becomes less interested in taking orders. Hoping to stop Emilia, Gemma decides to resurrect M3GAN, making it faster, stronger, and more lethal.

Fancy Dance is not one of the greatest films I saw of last year, but I left out of Fancy Dance thinking that this was absolutely an underrated gem that should've been checked out.

Video Summary: This is futurefilmmaker Reviews with Joshua's ranking of all the Matrix films from worst to best.
The Matrix Resurrections came out a month ago and it has taken a while but I finally get to talk about my thoughts on the entertaining but flawed 4th entry into the series, 22 years after the original and 18 years after the sequels. It is co-produced, co-written, and directed by Lana Wachowski. It stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Lambert Wilson, Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Christina Ricci. In this review, Joshua gives you his thoughts on the new entry and tells you if it's good or not.

Sypnosis
To find out if his reality is a physical or mental construct, Mr. Anderson, aka Neo, will have to choose to follow the white rabbit once more. If he's learned anything, it's that choice, while an illusion, is still the only way out of -- or into -- the Matrix. Neo already knows what he has to do, but what he doesn't yet know is that the Matrix is stronger, more secure and far more dangerous than ever before.

Six months after the release of the second film and 19 years since it's release, The Matrix Revolutions has been deemed an unsatisfying and anticlimactic end to the original Matrix trilogy but just like with Reloaded, it has its fanbase.
In this passionate review, Joshua gives his thoughts as to why he thinks it's a flawed but satisfying ending to the original Matrix trilogy and why he thinks it deserves a second chance years later despite the issues.

Sypnosis
In a dystopia overrun by robots, Neo (Keanu Reeves), mankind's greatest hope, is trapped in a limbo world. Meanwhile, the majority of the planet's population remains in a state of suspended virtual reality. The few humans who are cognizant of the grim realities of the world desperately try to hold off their mechanical enemies long enough for Neo to escape and save the day, but things turn disastrous when all-powerful computer program Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) arrives in the flesh.

For 18 years, the first sequel to the amazing Matrix has been ridiculed, criticized and unfairly misjudged for not being as great as the first and in this review, I talk about my favorite Matrix film here "The Matrix Reloaded" and why I think it's underrated and is deserving of another chance.

Sypnosis
Freedom fighters Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) continue to lead the revolt against the Machine Army, unleashing their arsenal of extraordinary skills and weaponry against the systematic forces of repression and exploitation. In their quest to save the human race from extinction, they gain greater insight into the construct of The Matrix and Neo's pivotal role in the fate of mankind.
