Welcome to this special Advent series of the everyday Eurasia podcast, inspiring faith for everyday.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be journeying together toward Christmas — a season of anticipation, reflection, and light in the darker days.

And we’re not alone: all around the world, people are preparing for this remarkable celebration. During this special season of Advent, we will journey through the Advent themes of Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. Join us each week as we hear from a different pastor or leader around the Eurasia Region who will help us reflect on and bring God’s word to life in a new way.

This second week of advent we will join Kristin Burchfiel, she grew up in Medford Oregon USA. She spent her life serving both locally and globally. Kristin serves now on the Eurasia Region, where she and her family have lived since 2020—first in Amman Jordan, and now in Lisbon Portugal. She currently coordinates Nazarene Missions Teams for the Western Mediterranean Field and Nazarene Compassionate Ministries for the Portugal District. Kristin will speak this week about the theme advent peace.
