London Fashion Week celebrated their 40th Anniversary for this seasons AW24. Shows such as SRVC, Mithridate, Tolu Coker, Labrum and Jack Iriving delivered great shows however Burberry again did not hit the mark. When will the arts be prioritised and highlighted and given a bigger spotlight than just a regular week. where's the buzz where's the creativity in London Fashion Week?
In todays day and age, anyone can become an influencer and we've even seen some become signed to agencies. However, for those that paved the way, where are they and how are they keeping up with the times
Sarah Burton showcased her last show recently at Fashion Week for the final time at Alexander McQueen. Her departure from the house, meant that all the remaining (and her replacement) are now all Male. The uproar created by this was highlighted by Diet Prada and just shows how far back we've gone in the industry.

H&M this year has collaborated with designers such as Mugler and recently announced another collaboration with Paco Rabanne. It is really the year of collaboration. However, this doesn't hide the fact that H&M are under scrutiny for greenwashing. Customers are able to donate their unwanted items for £15 vouchers and these items are said to be reused or repurposed into new garments. Yet, a majority of their items are sent to landfill sites in Ghana, which has gone on for several years.

A few months ago Edward Enniful announced that he will be stepping down as the editor and chief of British Vogue. From his iconic debut cover putting Adowa on the cover it was set the tone for diversity for British Vogue. Enniful says he would move into a more creative position giving him more control, however he will still oversee the role.
