This was suppose to be one of those Marvel characters made for TV that would warrant a series.  Not what we thought.  Especially the last few episodes. Daimon and Ana Helstrom are the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer; the siblings have a complicated dynamic as they track down the terrorizing worst of humanity.

We finally finish this amazing series on HBO about  black families living through the Jim Crow era and fighting not only against racism but witchcraft. Based on a book which in turn is based on H.P Lovecraft horror stories. A known racist in his time. Ain’t that a bitch?

A lot of little buzz jumped up on my reviews about this Sundance winner. Not realizing it was a New York movie as well as filmed in Black and White. As a fan of Blumhouse films, I saw that Amazon was going to release a set of horror/Drama movie for their prime subscription.  One of these happened to be a black cast movie that had a very interesting concept with identity or your soul  After losing his wife and memory in a car accident, a single father undergoes an agonizing experimental treatment that causes him to question who he really is

We were pretty stoked to sit down and see this beloved legal detective drama we use to watch staring Raymond Burr. Now that HBO took a stab at it. We wanted to see if it was worth the watch. Legal drama set in 1932 Los Angeles and based on novels and short stories penned by Erle Stanley Gardner

So this is a weird one. I’m usually into quality made movies or action packed epic films. Also If it is written well, a drama that catches my attention. But this recommendation was a 2017 B movie about time travel. I was told it was similar to my time travel preferences so I stopped to check it out. Here is the synopsis. I try to check out a few foreign movies or TV shows a few times a month.  This interesting movie comes from Argentina and is all about comics, drama and heroes.  A touch of Cosplay and super villain  is the premise of this wacky fun movie.  Here's my take.

Being a huge Christopher Nolan Fan I was not going to let the Corona Virus stop me from seeing his new movie spectacular with his Black lead star.  This mind bending action thriller puts you back into the "inception" mind set of where things are going.  Not really sure where this one is going but we went to the movies just to see it

Alicia and I sit down to watch season 2 of this cleverly created and directed Netflix show.  Because there are so many superhero shows out, we didn’t expect the encore to be as good as the first season. 

Some times we run into a movie everyone is checking out or happen to keep rotating into my Netflix queue. This one is a Jamie Foxx lead action thriller. A simple story line with an over zealous director. Is there action? Yes, is it thrilling? Here’s our thoughts.

As one of the top watched shoes on Netflix for awhile. I decided to watch this action movie with Charlize Theron. The fact that she is being deleted from the new Mad max reboot, I wanted to see what she she still had in the tank. This popular concept of immortal heroes fighting the wrongs in the world is not new but a bit different based on the secret society and finding a new recruit in the present day.

I sit down and watch the second season of home coming, confused with the story line and what new direction they would go to.  Also some characters that I was not too fond of but decided to give this one a go.  This is also an Amazon Prime series.

So Dark is a well written Sci Fi phenomenon. Even in German the complexities and time travel concepts are top notch. We pick up after the Apocalypse occurs in their small town in Germany. And a whole new sequence of events start out to uncover the true meaning behind the multidimensional love story between the two characters.

Since we are Spike Lee fans but lately we have been a bit cautious of his recent releases.  We didn't run out to see his Netflix release about 5 black men from the Vietnam war going back tot he country to recover a fallen brothers remains.  After Black KKKlansman we thought we would give this one a try since that was made a lot better than his other previous releases.
