For our first guest on the podcast - and Moose's first time interviewing anyone - we've gone straight to the top with one of Australia's greatest ever singer-songwriters, Paul Kelly!
We get the lowdown on Paul’s recent arena headline tour (including the moment that made Moose well up), and he takes us back to one of the toughest gigs he ever played.
Hear how Paul's thirtieth album Seventy came to be, along with the songs currently sitting in his “odd socks drawer.” Plus: how he really feels about entertainment at the footy, performing at the AFL Grand Final, who he reckons has the best (and worst) AFL club song and the one player he would totally fan over meeting.
We also talk about his earlier dip into writing footy articles, navigating songwriting pressures - particularly when creating a sequel to How to Make Gravy - and how literature and sport continue to shape his creative life.
Paul Kelly's new album Seventy is out now!

WELCOME TO OUR FIRST EPISODE! 🎉
We’re kicking things off by getting to know each other, fan to fan! We're diving into how music has shaped our lives, from Moose’s AFL career to Bridge’s journey into national radio (and how we could have almost crossed over like six years ago!!)
Plus, Moose reveals the song his mum played him in the womb, Bridge shares how the triple j textline led to a spontaneous trip to Las Vegas, and we chat about our favourite lyrics, the first CD's we owned, even the songs we want played at our funerals (V IMPORTANT!), and heaps more!
