What have I been playing this week? I start things off, once again, with Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and how the ending caused me to drop my rating for the game. Then, Dave's Word Game which is a new mobile game that combines Wordle and Scrabble. I also give reviews for some older games; Fire Shark, Black Ops 6, and Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.

What's in the news this week? Larian Studios, who were behind Baulder's Gate 3, reveal they used Generative AI during the concept phase. Also, Naughty Dog is crunching their developers again, the possibility of Nintendo Switch 2 smaller game carts, Fifa teams up with Netflix, Ark 2 won't come out till 2028, and more!

This week's news! The Game Awards 2025 had some big reveals and predictable winners! Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 swept the show and stirred some controversy. There was an exciting announcements for Resident Evil: Requiem, a surprise reveal of a new Mega Man title, Lenny Kravitz came on stage for 007 First Light, Bradley The Badger took the internet by storm, a bit of a lukewarm reveal of Highguard, and more! The PlayStation Wrap-Up for 2025 is here along with news that Paramount wants to buy Warner Bros. Discovery, AI artwork stirs up controversy for the recently announced POSTAL Bullet Paradise, and the Deus Ex Remaster is delayed indefinitely.

What have I been playing this past week? I start things off with Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, move on to the new 'Suika Game' inspired Dogpile, give some first impressions on Skate Story, and finish it off with a discussion about Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Finally in the coming soon section, The Boys Trigger Warning is a new VR game being developed with the people behind the TV series, the FEZ inspired Cassette Boy impresses with a Gameboy aesthetic, the NES version of JAWS comes back through Limited Run Games, Wario World is added to Nintendo Switch Online, and more!
