Story Transcript:

En: It was a crisp autumn morning in Keukenhof.

En: The sky was gray with occasional glimpses of the sun hiding behind thick clouds.

En: Bram and Lotte walked side by side through the beautiful gardens, surrounded by the scent of wet earth and wilting flowers.

En: The leaves of the trees had taken on warm shades of red, orange, and gold and gently swirled down with every breath of wind.

En: "Bram," said Lotte as she held up her camera, "this place is magical, even in autumn.

Nl: Ik wil iets vastleggen dat mensen verrast."
En: I want to capture something that surprises people."

En: Bram nodded and wiped a raindrop from his sketchbook.

En: He was determined to find a scene that captured the transition from summer to autumn.

Nl: "Ik weet het, Lotte," antwoordde hij.
En: "I know, Lotte," he replied.

En: "It's so difficult to find the perfect spot with this weather."

En: The rain came and went, making the ground damp and threatening to smudge Bram's drawings.

En: Lotte experimented with different angles, playing with the scarce beams of light filtering through the trees.

En: But every time she thought she'd captured something special, the photo was blurred by a sudden gust of wind or a drizzle.

Nl: Bram zuchtte en nam een besluit.
En: Bram sighed and made a decision.

En: He would quickly sketch various spots to be further developed later in his studio.

En: Meanwhile, Lotte kept searching for contrast and dynamism in the changing environment.

En: Suddenly, just when courage almost left them, a bright streak of sunlight broke through the dark clouds.

En: The light poured like a blinding sheet over the landscape, casting a golden glow over the falling leaf and the last blooming tulips.

Nl: Zowel Bram als Lotte stonden even stil,...
