En: In Vondelpark, Amsterdam, where the sky is gray and the sound of skates on ice echoes all around you, Sanne and Bram meet each other.

Nl: Het is winter, en de bomen hebben hun bladeren verloren.
En: It is winter, and the trees have lost their leaves.

Nl: De sneeuw bedekt het gras en het pad dat slingert rondom de vijver.
En: The snow covers the grass and the path that winds around the pond.

Nl: Sanne, een bedachtzame rechtenstudent, komt hier vaak om te schaatsen.
En: Sanne, a thoughtful law student, often comes here to skate.
