En: The white snow-covered city of Amsterdam was quiet on the morning of New Year's Day.

Nl: Binnen in de Centrale Bibliotheek was het echter levendig.
En: Inside the Centrale Bibliotheek, however, it was lively.

Nl: Het warme licht vulde de ruimte terwijl de lezers zich verspreidden over de verschillende verdiepingen.
En: The warm light filled the space as the readers spread out over the different floors.

Nl: Bij de zeldzame boekenhoek verscheen Maarten, een stille grafisch ontwerper die op zoek was naar nieuwe inspiratie.
