Story Transcript:

En: The tea house in Georgia Savannah was filled with the aroma of warm tea.

En: The winter wind was blowing outside, but inside, it was filled with warmth from the wooden interior and soft lighting.

En: Minjun sat there, aiming to reunite with his sister on New Year's Eve.

En: Minjun was lost in thought, idly toying with his teacup.

En: Next to him, Eunji was absent-mindedly gazing out the window.

En: Minjun looked for a chance to speak, but found it hard to break the silence.

En: Years of misunderstandings and distance had built a wall between them.

En: "Eunji," Minjun began in a whispering tone.

Ko: "미안해."
En: "I'm sorry."

En: Eunji quietly turned her eyes and looked at her brother.

En: There were many things in that gaze: doubt, hurt, and a bit of hope.

En: Minjun took a deep breath and continued, "I didn’t understand what happened between us... but I want to be close with you again."

En: However, Eunji still didn't easily open her heart.

Ko: "왜 이제 와서?"
En: "Why now?" she asked.

En: "You didn’t care at all back then."

En: Minjun hesitated for a moment but made up his mind.

En: He rummaged through his coat and took out a letter he had written long ago.

En: "I wrote this... but never gave it to you.

En: I want to give it to you today."

En: Eunji took the letter and fixed her gaze on it for a long time.

En: In the quiet tea house, the ticking of the clock could be heard.

En: In a few minutes, it would be the New Year.

En: Eunji carefully opened the letter and Minjun waited anxiously beside her.

En: As Eunji read the letter, her face began to change little by little.

En: Her lips trembled, and her eyes became slightly red.

En: It must have been because she could feel the sincere apology and regret Minjun had poured into the letter.

En: "Brother, I..." Eunji struggled to find the right words.

En: The cheerful sound of the New Year’s bell quietly echoed.

En: "Shall we start over?" Minjun asked carefully.

En: Eunji smiled, as if the glacier in her heart melted away.

En: "Yes, let’s start over."

En: The...
