Story Transcript:

En: In the long corridor, the cool autumn breeze gently swept through, setting the fallen leaves dancing in the courtyard of the ancient boarding school.

En: Liang was a lively boy, always fond of playing pranks.

En: Today, he had carefully planned a prank to amuse Teacher Tian, the dormitory supervisor.

En: In the dormitory's common lounge, Liang and his friend Mei were whispering to each other.

En: Liang nudged Mei with his elbow and said in a low voice, "I have prepared a pumpkin pie, and I want to put it on Teacher Tian's desk.

En: When she walks in, she will definitely be surprised!"

En: Mei furrowed her brows and advised, "Be careful, Teacher Tian is very strict.

En: She might not appreciate such a joke."

En: But Liang wasn't concerned at all.

En: He grinned and said, "Don't worry! I just want to bring her a bit of joy."

En: However, that night, things did not go according to Liang's plan.

En: On that day, Teacher Tian had announced a thorough dormitory inspection before all students left for home.

En: Suddenly, everyone was busy tidying their rooms, completely forgetting about Liang's hidden pumpkin pie.

En: Before the inspection started, Liang couldn't help but feel nervous.

En: He glanced at Mei, who showed a worried expression.

En: However, it was too late, as Teacher Tian had already pushed open the common lounge door and immediately spotted the pumpkin pie on the table.

En: "What is this?" Teacher Tian asked in surprise.

En: Before she could finish her sentence, a student happened to pass by and tripped over a chair.

En: The book in his hand flew out, accidentally toppling the pumpkin pie.

En: The pie flew into the air and landed with a splat on the face of another student standing nearby.

En: Suddenly, things took a turn for the worse, and an impromptu food fight erupted in the common lounge.

En: Before long, the usually stern Teacher Tian couldn't resist smiling, and she laughed so hard that tears began to roll down her face.

En: Seeing this, the students also started laughing together and rolled up their sleeves to help clean up the mess.

En: The embarrassed Liang finally decided to admit that he was the mastermind behind the prank.

En: He approached Teacher Tian and sincerely said, "I'm sorry, Teacher Tian.

En: I only wanted to make everyone a bit happier."

En: Teacher Tian nodded gently and said, "Seeing everyone laugh so...
