No: Frogner Parkens trær skinte i alle høstens farger.
En: The trees in Frogner Parken shone in all the colors of autumn.

No: Løvet var gyllent og rødt, luften var frisk.
En: The foliage was golden and red, the air was fresh.

No: I dag skulle Sigrid treffe sin bror Emil, etter mange år fra hverandre.
En: Today Sigrid was going to meet her brother Emil, after many years apart.

No: De pleide å leke her som barn, løpe langs de brede gangstiene, se på Vigelands skulpturer.
En: They used to play here as children, running along the wide pathways, looking at Vigeland's sculptures.

No: Sigrid sto ved en av parkens kjente skulpturer og ventet.
En: Sigrid stood by one of the park's famous sculptures and waited.

No: Hun var nervøs.
En: She was nervous.

No: Hun visste at Emil hadde forandret seg.
En: She knew that Emil had changed.

No: Han hadde reist rundt i verden, levd et liv fylt med eventyr og frihet.
En: He had traveled around the world, lived a life filled with adventure and freedom.
