No: Holmenkollen stod stolt mot den snødekte himmelen.
En: Holmenkollen stood proudly against the snow-covered sky.

No: Folk var samlet i varme klær, lange skjerf og tykke luer, ivrige etter å se de modige skihopperne.
En: People gathered in warm clothes, long scarves, and thick hats, eager to watch the brave ski jumpers.

No: Blant dem var Lars, en ung, ambisiøs skihopper.
En: Among them was Lars, a young, ambitious ski jumper.

No: I dag var dagen han hadde ventet på.
En: Today was the day he had been waiting for.

No: Den store konkurransen var i gang, og han måtte prestere.
En: The big competition was on, and he had to perform.

No: Lars sto ved siden av sin gode venn, Signe.
En: Lars stood next to his good friend, Signe.

No: Hun så spent ut, men også litt nervøs.
En: She looked excited, but also a little nervous.
