Pl: Zima w Krainie Wielkich Jezior Mazurskich była zawsze mroźna i pełna wyzwań.
En: Winter in the Land of the Great Mazurian Lakes was always frosty and full of challenges.

Pl: Jednak ta pora roku miała w sobie coś magicznego.
En: However, this season had something magical about it.

Pl: Śnieg połyskiwał w świetle księżyca, a jeziora pokrywała gładka lodowa tafla.
En: The snow glistened in the moonlight, and the lakes were covered with a smooth ice sheet.

Pl: W powietrzu czuć było nadchodzące Święta Bożego Narodzenia.
En: The air was filled with the anticipation of Christmas.
